About
Canyon Springs Golf Club is a true Hill Country course. You need to stay on the fairways or bring plenty of balls. Using an old farm to build on this choice piece of Texas real estate, this land has been artfully transformed into what many golfers will refer to as among the very best of what Texas has to offer. With five sets of tee boxes on each hole, demanding greens, natural Hill Country surroundings and magnificent limestone waterfalls on two holes, this 7,000-plus-yard course presents a significant challenge to event the most experienced golfers (and even those who think they are).

Great Golf Experience
Canyon Springs is a top three non-country club golf course in the city of San Antonio. One of my favorite courses to play. Impeccable conditions, great pace of play and awesome layout. One of the more challenging courses I will say that, but keeps you wanting to come back.

Wow
Awesome course, first time playing at Canyon Springs and enjoyed every bit of it. The staff were really friendly and made this experience stupendous for me. I must say the course is very challenging and the scenery was breathtaking especially the waterfall in the background on the 18th hole. I hope I can make it out here again soon.

Course was in great shape. Some parts of the course were a bit mush from all the recent rain we have had in the area but it was to be expected. Greens had been recently punched and sanded but didn’t affect play as much. Beautiful course and great lay out

Course in great shape except the greens were recently aerated and unpredictable. They gave no notice prior to the round.

Greens punched with no warning
A simple courtesy heads up on the greens being pinched would have been nice. We could have been told at the front desk and also the started had plenty chances to tell us about the conditions of the greens that were punched on the morning we arrived.
Rough was US Open height. Not fun for an average golfer that does not have 1,000 spotters throughout the course locating every ball.
