About
Canyon Springs Golf Club is a true Hill Country course. You need to stay on the fairways or bring plenty of balls. Using an old farm to build on this choice piece of Texas real estate, this land has been artfully transformed into what many golfers will refer to as among the very best of what Texas has to offer. With five sets of tee boxes on each hole, demanding greens, natural Hill Country surroundings and magnificent limestone waterfalls on two holes, this 7,000-plus-yard course presents a significant challenge to event the most experienced golfers (and even those who think they are).

Love the course - but they wanted to charge $40 for my wife to ride with me
I love this course, it's beautiful, challenging and in awesome shape. I drove down from Dripping Springs because I got a great Hot Deal - but otherwise this course is too expensive (as many courses have become since COVID). I can afford it but not willing to pay $125 for a round.
My wife has ridden with me @ this course in the past at no charge but apparently someone decided to not only jack up the greens fee rates (as a Vet I can play the TPC Course for $125) but also now want to charge $40 freaking $$$ for a non-player to ride along.
That's absurd! So she went shopping instead - thanks for the "fun afternoon with my wife" Canyon Springs (NOT!!).

Great course play it
Great course, play it if you get a chance. Golf carts with gps and most other importantly green charts!!

Canyon Springs never disappoints
From a great weekday rate to a nice layout we enjoyed our day at Canyon Springs. The staff was very friendly and it has an above average practice facility. Will definitely visit again the next time we are in San Antonio.

The staff
Cannot say enough about the entire staff. Didn’t meet a single person who was rude or unhelpful. Everyone was very accommodating and made you feel appreciated.
GREAT course, just too windy that day was my only complaint. Greens were super fast and the greens keeper must have been in a bad mood that morning cause most pin placements were on a ridge! Haha

Best Course for your money in the SA area
Greens rolling good, conditions are great. To top it off, played as a foursome and got around in 3.5 hrs

Nice Track
Nice track..rolling with several nice views. Course was in good shape...few bare spots and garbage in the woods but overall good..greens were all in good shape with good speed...rolled true...but you will need to play a few times to get the hang of them..Hang friends in from out of town and they enjoyed...will play again
