About
Canyon Springs Golf Club is a true Hill Country course. You need to stay on the fairways or bring plenty of balls. Using an old farm to build on this choice piece of Texas real estate, this land has been artfully transformed into what many golfers will refer to as among the very best of what Texas has to offer. With five sets of tee boxes on each hole, demanding greens, natural Hill Country surroundings and magnificent limestone waterfalls on two holes, this 7,000-plus-yard course presents a significant challenge to event the most experienced golfers (and even those who think they are).

Very nice course, would check out for sure.
It’s pretty and playable. I enjoyed the round. The pace of play was a little slow but overall a really good golf experience.

Even wet it was great
My son wanted to try a new course in the area. This did not disappoint. Despite a downpour at the rest stop near 5, we had a great time. I cannot wait to play in better weather.

Canyon Springs Rookie
1st time here and we’ll be coming back soon! Course is in excellent condition and just an amazing /fun layout. You never forget you’re in the Texas Hill Country but you quickly forget you’re near big city San Antonio. The staff was top notch with a special shout out to our starter Ken whose course tips and tee recommendation proved invaluable!

Best course and facility for the price that I've played in the San Antonio area. The staff were friendly and helpful to a first to player and their driving range is the best I've seen with Trackman's in every bay.

Great loop on a hot Summer day
We have had temps from 104-108 the last 2 weeks and the greens and fairways were in great shape. Had a 3:40 tee time and finished right at 8pm. This is a challenging layout, I can’t wait to play again.

Overpriced
I’ve played five star tournament courses for the same price. This course doesn’t even come close in terms of quality, layout, pace of play, etc. The off course amenities were some of the best I’ve ever seen.

Play Now, Perfect Conditions.
The course is still in great shape for the summer mainly due to the rain and cooler weather in July. It’s heating up now and the fairways are faster than last I played 1-2 months ago. It’s playing shorter. A couple of brown spots here there but no complaints. I probably would have preferred the blue tees vs the white this time. However, I was paired with a nice threesome which the whites were suitable for our group as a whole. They do a good job managing the starting tee. Every time I come, the players for the majority understand pace of play. Snack shack is convenient as well. The cost is a little pricey, Afternoon times are more reasonable if cost is an issue.

Best Difficult Track in San Antonio
Played a twilight round, staff was friendly, top tracer technology at the range was great. Greens were fast, pin placement was diabolical, course was in perfect shape. One of my favorite courses in San Antonio.
Only feedback is we had a large group playing in front of us (3 carts) and were playing slower than usual. We were only able to play up to hole 14 because we ran out of daylight.
