Greens , fairways and every bit of this course was amazing!

Not long but challenging course. Greens were great, a little slow due to rain but very playable.

The course was amazing. I would recommend this course to any golf or advance average or just starting. Every aspect of the course has been maintained very well. It’s a must play in a great value.

Fast pace, wide fairways, challenging greens, bunkers okay, elevation helps on a hot day but wind a factor.

The course/green improvements during COVID have made a huge difference. Looking forward to the shamble tournament next week.

Hot and windy - a typical mid-August Texas day on the links. Holes 16-18 were quite difficult as they play directly into the prevailing "breeze" (20 mph and gusty this day). Undulating but fairly straightforward layout - not Oakmont or Colonial CC but definitely way above a muni. A few longish holes, but mostly on the shorter side, with many par 4s only needing a 3-wood to get to wedge or short-iron approach distance (I played from the middle tees). I enjoyed the downhill tee shots on several holes - quite scenic. The greens were fairly smooth with some pretty strong slopes, but seemed a little stressed - it looks like they had spread a lot of grass seed with sand recently - or maybe just been aerated. The margin of error on most tee shots is small, mostly because of the really tall (3-5') grass that just swallows way-offline shots (yeah, I had a few of those). Shot an 84 losing 5 balls sightseeing the course, so it's quite doable, mainly because all those wicked areas play as lateral hazards (not o/b or lost ball). Super nice folks running the place - very welcoming atmosphere, charming rustic decor and down-home country atmosphere. I'll be back.

They let a group of SIX go ahead of us. The marshal seemed unhappy that people were even showing up to golf. Great course. Awful service

Great how the course was spaced out and you're not playing on top of others.

I wasn't impressed by the location for the ladies tee boxes but my boyfriend loved the challenge of his round of golf. He did an 84.

The views are great and nice waterfall on the 18.

Course was challenging yet beautiful. Grass looked great everywhere despite the south Texas heat and sun. Bring balls if you’re not a fairway finder. Greens are a good roll and sloped. Definitely be back!
