About
Canyon Springs Golf Club is a true Hill Country course. You need to stay on the fairways or bring plenty of balls. Using an old farm to build on this choice piece of Texas real estate, this land has been artfully transformed into what many golfers will refer to as among the very best of what Texas has to offer. With five sets of tee boxes on each hole, demanding greens, natural Hill Country surroundings and magnificent limestone waterfalls on two holes, this 7,000-plus-yard course presents a significant challenge to event the most experienced golfers (and even those who think they are).

Course was in good shape
Overall I thought the course was in good shape. A few bare spots throughout where high cart traffic was.

In my opinion, this is the best course in San Antonio PERIOD!

Not a bad course
We played some afternoon golf on a Saturday. Every hole required some waiting, but it’s a nice course to visit during the week.

Course in great shape!
The course is in excellent shape. It always plays a little long this time of year. The fairways were spongy in places such that I got little roll out on drives not a complaint, but just an observation which I should’ve planned accordingly. I would have replaced a few long/mid irons with a couple spare hybrids. They did have a short shower earlier in the day that didn’t help. We were playing well ahead pace, but slowed down at 16 which ended up being our last hole. Before that, we never had to wait nor saw anyone behind us except just getting on tee when we were leaving green until 16. We should of been able to finish but course came to a crawl at the end.

Great Round
As always, the course was in fantastic shape. There was not a bad spot on the entire course. There was a group ahead of us that was pretty slow, but they finally sped up after the Marshall spoke to them. Will definitely play again.

Best Course in San Antonio?
Awesome golf course! Greens are blazing, layout is challenging, but not super long. Prices are comparable to courses around that are not in as good of shape.

Great shape
Course was in great shape, especially with the weather being inconsistent. Greens were challenging and made for an interesting round. I would recommend others to go play.
