Fair ways good, rough ok in parts but the greens are terrible. Ok for you iron game an off the tee but putting isnt true at all. Still. Good to be back but after 4/5 months off them greens should be pristine.

There is alot of groundwork going on for the 1st 7 holes if your off the fairway you are in unplayable grounds also the greens are not very good like they use to be. We won't be playing here again untill all ground work is done and course looking good again

Bad bad bad. Fairways better than greens. Pace of play terrible. Will not be returning. Would rather play crazy golf.

Good course and some great holes, Course has lots of work going on by the looks of it and lots of development happening. Lovely day for a round and some spectacular views. Overall Course and greens all in good condition considering just coming out of a lockdown. Can’t complain for the current price and will definitely be returning.

Course is improving all the time and the addition of banking around some of the greens changes the course features significantly.

The greens are still a long way off how they used to be but have improved from last year, forget the bunkers during Covid times but they could do with weeding.

The new tees when established will make some of the holes interesting.

Played Frodsham today, vast improvement in course since last year. Obviously has had lots of work done and is getting better. Greens are improving. No facilities at moment due to covid but hopefully there will be some in future. Will play again soon. Worth a visit as good value for money

Very happy with course generally but greens are poor bumpy and well below a gòod standard work to be done there

The course is of a good standard with interesting holes and layout. The facilities when we went weren’t up to standard but that was due to the course being in the middle of a large redevelopment. When we went there wasn’t a club house or facilities but this will no doubt change as the renovations are completed. Would definitely play again.

We went to FGC for the second time in three days, as the weather was so good - lucky to get a game as it was so busy. Had chance to have a ‘good’ look at the course and the surrounds... although there is a lot of landscaping going on - some of the new embankments, although not grassed-over yet, are going to be a nice feature - the course itself was good for this time of the year. The fairways were really quite good and the greens hugely better than last year (with the right amount of grass on them)! Also, got to talk and exchange views with quite a number of other playing groups, the vast majority were happy and enjoying their round. For a private course how can you beat £17.50 per day - value for money, especially with the surrounding setting. We will be back, and look forward to even more improvements with the warmer weather.

Played Frodsham this morning, Amazing how the greens have recovered from past years, and course in general is definitely going in the right direction. Well done to all involved. Lovely surroundings n views. We'll worth a visit.

Fairways where covered in clumps of cut grass, greens in really bad shape, not one put actually rolled to the hole, they all jumped and bobbled everywhere, could be a really nice course if they had decent green keepers and the fact it doesn’t have a clubhouse anymore puts you off, instead it’s just a small container with no amenities, you need a 4x4 on some of the paths and all the bins where full of rubbish, played there a few times a year for the last 5 years thinking it’s going to improve but it’s gone the opposite,
