Good value
Very good value.challenging.2 holes closed but still in good condition
Messingham Grange
Great course really enjoy playing here and great value for money ,Greens are in brilliant shape so credit to greens staff.
Slow but sure
I play here about 3 times a year. Some challenging holes and a nice clubhouse afterwards. On this occasion I was behind a society with 20+ players and several 4 balls. Pace of play very very slow and it was a baking hot day. I called it a day after 12 holes.
Course was very dry but greens ok. There has been no rain for weeks.
I'll certainly play her again. Just picked a bad day on this occasion.
Great conditions for the time of year!
A fairly testing course (although I think the slope rating gives you too many shots for the difficulty), but lots of water, bunkers and tree lined fairways.
considering it has been so dry here over the past month, the course was in great condition, the greens were still soft and fairly quick and the fairways looked great.
Messingham Grange
Excellent course with plenty to challenge me, only been playing golf for about 3 years now and the number of water hazards really has you concentrating on your game
excellent value for money
even though sand was being laid on greens this did not interfere with the role of the ball and in a few weeks this course will be one of the best in the area .Staff were freindly both on and off the course and 2 groups let us play through which is not often the case . Will certainly be returning
Course
Excellent conditions, greens firm and fast, running true.
Speed of play spot on, and great value for money.
Would highly recommend, only downside for me was no hot food after 3pm and no pro shop. Driving range available across the road at the Lincs Academy
One of the best courses I have played
Considering we have had some awful weather this year the course was kept to an excellent standard throughout. Greens are excellent and the course layout is exciting for all abilities of players.
Would definitely recommend and play again.
Great Course
Very good course really enjoy playing here not as easy as it looks with some interesting holes
Great course
Really enjoyed the course, teed off on time, no
Players in front or behind so had a leisurely game. All holes playable, just a few temps. a challenging course , bunkers well maintained, fortunately only found a couple. Greens where in tip top condition. Cost £18 a round on Golf Now. Will deffo play again in the summer as it should be a brilliant course. Clubhouse is good. Plenty of parking. Please give it a go
My golf
Still on winter we did pay full price but was given a £4per player discount when we got to the course
For the time of year 24/12/2022 very good condition . 3 ball we just enjoyed playing at Messingham. 3 winter greens out or 18 very good. Definitely playing again if golf now get some deals lol cheers thanks
I know it's winter and to be expecting to be on winter greens but they was basically a flag on an uncut fairway 2 holes not in play and still paying full price. Not very good at all
Messingham
Course very wet/soft due to amount of rain lately. Obviously cannot be helped. Looking forward to playing the course at a later date.
November golf
After a week of really heavy rainfall our own course is rather muddy so we got a hot deal at Messigham Grange. £10.99 !
The 8th fairway was quite wet and there is some chafer / crow damage on 10 & 11 fairways, that’s the bad bit,,,,,, the rest of the course was just brilliant, all the greens were in play, couple of mats on 2 of the par 3’s rest of tees excellent, fairways brilliant, bunkers all raked and sand consistent, lovely surroundings with golden leaves on the trees,,,,,,, honestly £11 !!!!! You would be hard pressed to find better value anywhere, oh nice pint of Guinness to finish, well done Messingham.
Lots of leaves, greens decent, fairways rough
This course is one for going to just for a round of golf, not one you have on your bucket list as it’s not brilliant just functional. Fairways are pretty rough, not defined and covered in leaves which is common at courses at this time of year. Greens were surprisingly good and the layout isn’t bad with a couple of decent holes but some pointless holes like 17 which doesn’t allow any corner cutting. For £18 it was fine, but if it was any more it would be overpriced on current state of fairways.
