Messingham Grange - Championship Course

Having suffered with the dreaded Covid it was my first game so decided to go alone & play this lovely course. Yes there are better courses but for the money you just can’t beat Messingham.

The staff were lovely & friendly.

The course is tidy & the greens in fair condition for the time of year .

The lakes / ponds on the course add to the difficulty of the course & it’s one that cannot be taken lightly.

Would definitely recommend this course which on the day was quiet.

Normally a good course but not this time winter tees on most an winter greens on all if you can call them winter greens rubbish an still they charge you same as normal as I payed in summer months how can you charge that disgraceful

Course played well despite it being wet and greens needed cutting but pretty good for £15.

Played this course for the first time and was over the moon. Greens are in great condition and course is generally in good conditions. Will play again

Overall the course in decent condition. A few greens need a bit of repair, but most of them were in good and played well. Better condition than when I last played in May this year.

Arrived at 5:30 - no staff to access any facilities or even get a scorecard.

Just a great course. Please I when with golf now at £19. About right value for money . Not £26. . Great day good couse.

Had a pleasant day, not the longest of courses but plenty of variation, would’ve liked to have seen a dedicated shop rather than checking in at the bar but otherwise very decent

Having played here several times before and enjoyed it i found the course disappointing overgrown in areas and greens yellow I understand times are hard but saw no green staff working and very little use by golfers the clubhouse was closed at 6pm when we finished I'm not one to knock any course but this was the worst I've seen it in the last two years I wouldn't recommend it at the minute sorry Steve

This course is a disgrace no better than a park field not worth £5.00 no difference between rough and fairway greens well not sure they was any greens just a flag in a park field

Greens neeed a little attention and fairways were not the greatest but it’s cheap to play. Had a good time and will visit again

A pleasant course to play , friendly and efficient staff , certainly worth a visit

Have played this course numerous times over the years. After locklockdown, I wrongly assumed the condition would be tip top. Sadly the worse I have seen it.
