Messingham Grange - Championship Course

Course in good condition, as expected this time of year.

Fairways could have done with a trim, and sand in bunkers would not go amiss.

Generally good value.

Very good greens and well looked after. Each hole has the visual maps to show the layout, however Lack of fairway markers on every hole let it down slightly. But all in all, very good facilities & we will be back.

Ignore the comment about bunkers full of water, his mam probably still runs his bath, he must think bunkers have plug holes. As for the course, first course this year after so much rain, your getting bounce and roll off drives, not one plug shot plugged by both of us, all tees fairways and greens are cut unlike others course that are closed in Yorkshire. The place don't even look like it's had rain . Deffo play again

As with all courses in ther uk at the moment , lots of challenges with the wet weather. Generally course was dry enough to play but the bunkers are in horrendous condition, either full of water or no sand in them..

Under new management so I'm sure they will have a plan...

Fantastic morning of golf at messingham grange today, course was in fantastic condition for the time of year, one of the best we’ve played this year so far, was a little bit disappointed the 4th hole was closed especially when most of the course was very dry, could t work out why that hole was closed but must of had a reason for it, apart from that cannot complain, can’t wait to get back in the summer to play again of the proper tees.

Great course really enjoy playing here and great value for money ,Greens are in brilliant shape so credit to greens staff.

I play here about 3 times a year. Some challenging holes and a nice clubhouse afterwards. On this occasion I was behind a society with 20+ players and several 4 balls. Pace of play very very slow and it was a baking hot day. I called it a day after 12 holes.

Course was very dry but greens ok. There has been no rain for weeks.

I'll certainly play her again. Just picked a bad day on this occasion.
