Grimsby Golf Club

1st time at this course. Can't wait to play it again. 1st 9 holes was like playing millionaires golf nobody in front or behind us. Went to get a drink at halfway stage came back out. Had to stand on the 10th tee for 10 minutes because 4 old boys got in front of us. Don't know how. So the back 9 wasn't that fast. Overall a fantastic day out.

Course in excellent condition and greens pristine (despite playing at the tail end of a day-long competition). Pace of play was good, and was quickly waved through by several groups. Some generic parkland up-and-down holes, but the majority have interesting shape and/or some slant/terracing to the fairways to add difficulty, with a couple of over-water par 3s. Excellent value at the green fee paid, will definitely be back.

First round of golf since August 2020 and really enjoyed it, on arrival at pro shop the pro was friendly helpful and polite,and the course was in immaculate condition ,really enjoyed it and great value for money would definitely book again with golf now.

First round of golf since September 20 and where better to play than Grimsby, the course was in perfect condition a real pleasure to play staff in the shop very polite helpful and friendly great value for money on golf now ,highly recommend

This course is a must for any golfer guaranteed to enjoy the challenging but picturesque course

Fantastic greens and some interesting holes but I lot of tight side by side par 4s with very little to distinguish from each other.

Round was spoilt by a very slow and inconsiderate 3 ball in front (4 groups on the same hole at one point).

Course was in a great condition.greens were a little bumpy and far too many unrepaired pitch marks on some greens..This course is always a challenge.

Beautiful course excellent condition, immaculate greens and very friendly and helpful staff

Having not played this course before, I left my woods at home and off we set. The course is certainly challenging, mainly due to its undulating nature but all fairways and greens were excellent.

I certainly wouldn't want to carry my clubs round the course, so I was pleased I had my trolley .., and so were my calf's.

Friendly members (which we had a chat with before and during our round), the green staff were excellent, including educating me in the four colours of flags - each representing a different pin position .., and a valuable lesson learnt thank you.

If I had to be critical, the only thing that would be nice to see, is clear hole plan/directions on the tee's but I'm only nit picking and the more I play the course, the more I hope I would become aware of these.

A course I will definitely play again!

We had never played the course before and were really looking forward to playing. The course is really beautiful and very well looked after. However we only played 9 holes because the pace of play was so slow we couldn't enjoy the round. Not only were we delayed by the slow players in front (waiting on every shot) but we had to wait three times for the greens to be cut. We just gave up after 9 holes.
