Excellent course

We played there yesterday for the first time. The course layout is really good and the greens are fantastic. Due to the weather the course was cutting up a little which is to be expected this time of year. Enjoyed it that much we have booked back on again for today. Looking forward to playing here many more times in the future.

Poorly Kept

Fairways were like deep rough, most of the bunkers and a lot of the course was marked G.U.R (ground under repair). Granted it was raining but roughly 12 of the 18 holes were full of water with the greens flooded. Couldn’t find the next tees as there wasn’t any sign postage, had to run to find them first.

Price was cheap but I wouldn’t pay that again for the condition of the course at the time I played.

Staff were friendly.

Practice area was okay but had to walk across a muddy area to get there.

For an average golfer there are too many trees in the middle of fairways to hit. However the fairways are wide.

Would only play again on the condition the grounds are sorted.

Thanks.

Friendly people, course condition not great.

Playing in November, I don't expect courses to be in perfect condition but this was below average, particularly the fairways. Maybe the very dry summer has contributed to the problem but it has not been well looked after.

Good course, good challenge, great staff/members

Not played Hainsworth Park for a couple of years, but always wanted to return as I enjoyed when I last played. the opportunity came through Tee off Times, wasn't disappointed. Even though we were in the middle of the Hottest summer in over 20 years, the course was still in great condition & and very true. Staff & Members couldn't have been more helpful, definitely worth a visit

Great all round course

Hainsworth park is a lovely but very tricky course, although the weather was typically English (heavy rain and strong wind) the course played beautifully, nice quick greens and some heavy rough you don't want to drive into too often, off the course is the golf room-an indoor golf simulator which looked like it would be a rather nice addition to any course.
