Played this course on a wet afternoon, course was in brilliant shape, greens super fast even though it was damp. Great layout of holes, glad I used my trolley as it is a tough walk. Highly recommend this golf course thoroughly enjoyable.
Halifax Bradley hall
where to begin. played on the 24/04/22 not the 1st time i have played here enjoyed it over the years but this last year i don't know what is happening at Bradley hall from the off the club pro / person in the pro shop was abrupt and started interrogating me about whether i had the correct golf shorts on because cargo shorts were banned if my trolley had winter wheels on and if we were wearing golf hoodies because they too were banned on the course and to top it all off 2 mins before tee off he decided to tell us that because we booked a hot tee time from golf now that we were paired with another group and that this was golf now fault, in all the years using golf now this has never happened before more likely they double booked the same tee time and came up with some rubbish excuse, this obviously annoyed both parties before we had even hit a ball was not a good experience and wont be playing there again till attitudes change. the course its self was in good nick but the pace of play was shocking the spacing between tee times was too small everyone was bunched up no chance of being let through
Not good!!
Was told we had to play with another 2 ball on arrival even though we booked just a 2 ball also wouldn’t let me play with my electric trolley because it didn’t have winter wheels even though it’s nearly May and the course was bone dry. Not a good round at all and won’t be playing there again.
Disappointing
Couldn’t complain about the course or staff at the course but having paid for 18 holes to be informed when we got there that 2 holes were not playable was disappointing, should be more information on golf now regarding the status as if we new this before we would never have played it.
Challenging
Challenging, long course. In excellent condition. Staff very friendly. Don’t advise a pull trolley. Hilly. Requires good course management
bradley hall golf club
played bradley hall on the 27/06/21 not the 1st time ive played here its a cracking course very challenging the greens were super fast, course was in a great condition thick rough so finding the fairway is a must.I will say there was some pitch marks on greens that were not repaired players really need to do this and the pro in the golf shop did ask my to take my adidas golf huddie off as it was against local rules to wear it which i found funny seeing as Rory and co wear them on the pga tour but i couldn't at Bradley hall lol think they need to change that rule other than that i would recommend everyone try play Bradley hall its a real test and fun to play
Very Good Course Overall
Was disappointed at the start but back 9 was particularly good. Fairways soggy on some holes and seems awkwardly tight with other holes in places but would recommend and play again.
Booked on golf now. Turned and teed off. Course in good condition after COVID lockdown. New paths to some tees were nice. Addition. Sadly still on mats and some plugging on fairways but generally excellent. Very enjoyable course with driving range and par 3 course.
