Last minute course didn't disappoint
We booked this as a last minute round as we both became available at the last minute. Limited course availability meant this was our only option. We arrived and were immediately impressed. Superb nets next to a well manicured practice putting green. There is a driving range a short walk across the 18th!
The tee boxes are in very good condition, the greens are firm and fast and the fairways are in excellent conditions. The layout is an interesting challenge with plenty of raised greens and some really small greens. The rough is punishing so ball off the tee is key to a good score.
All in all it was a very good round of golf on a lovely course in the heart of Halifax and given its only 30 minutes away from North Manchester we will definitely be returning in the future.

what a day we had, first time played this course travelled from wigan but boy was it worth it ,firstly the pro in shop came out to explain the course ,members very friendly , course superb, greens pretty fast which was great.but the people made the day thank you .
Nice course, greens really good, some great scenery too. Problem is its always really windy there so the course plays alot harder than it should. The tee boxes are sometimes an inconvenience. The 2nd tee is just past the green for the 1st. The 12th is in that area aswell so there can be a delay sometimes with tee shots. The 8th tee you have to cross the 3rd hole fairway. Overall a good course, probably won't play again as the weather is brutal, even in summer.

Very windy conditions but we really enjoyed playing on this caurse. The greens were in good condition, definitely play again.
Great Course with Character.
Came on a hot deal. Lovely course which if playing for the first time, you may get caught out with some of the slopes on the fairways and greens. Highly recommended.
