Good local course
As new to golf I find this quite a challenging course, some big hills, 3 par 5's and some tight fairways, and limited water. Since winter greens have got a lot better and the fairways are now in good shape. Friendly staff in the clubhouse and bar. Lovely views over the course from teh club house.

Lovely course layout
The course layout is good, however this year the greens are slow with Grubs on almost all greens. Disappointed we were not told of the issues. Plenty of other clubs in this price range, that are better.

Short but elevated beauty
Course pleases one with Scenic beauty of Buckinghamshire, I enjoyed walking the slopes surrounded by trees. . Creates a sense of excitement as quite a few holes play blind on the tee.
Easier to drive to from central london via a40.

Nice course but quite challenging without a buggy
Course was interesting.. Some of the greens are not 100% (few lumps and bumps). Very hilly and you can’t see a lot of the greens for the tee’s but a good challenge..

Hilly course with generous fairways
This is a local course for me, have played several times. I'm not a member but staff are welcoming, plenty of hills and a few challenging holes. Club house overlooks the course which looked good in the evening sunshine.

Too many Winter teas and winter greens
Too many Winter tees and winter greens. Greensman even moved pin off the 6th green onto a winter green while we were plying our second shot.
