High Legh Park Golf Club

I play the academy course most of the time which needs better maintenance. However, the main course was amazingly good. From Tee areas to fairways to greens. I will definitely play this course again and maybe even sign up for membership.

The course was in very good condition Straight forward course not too many hazards One complaint not enough direction markers It took us 10 minutes to find 17 th tee Overall most enjoyable I LL BE BACK

Played here before and never put this course in the private/classy category and have enjoyed this as an option..

Yesterday was honestly the worst I’ve seen it for condition,not so much the greens but mainly the tees..

Played golf for 30 years plus and even at municipal hacking grounds tee boxes much better than yesterday..

To say muddy ungrassed maybe doing it a favour.

Then knowing paid over £100 for a three ball was shocking!!

All for clubs charging a premium because the trade is there for the taking but this is blatant extortion!!

Very disappointing

A great course to focus on course management, should be easy to score points but with enough challenge and lost ball opportunities.

There's a lot of comment about the tees and although they are pretty bare they had no influence on the enjoyment we had playing the round whatsoever.

My playing partner was running late die to an issue beforehand but the staff were understanding and accommodating and found is a new time on the day.

The course off the tees was in excellent condition and the greens were brilliant.

All in all a very enjoyable experience and we'll be returning again very soon.

We had a great day at HLGC. Only waited a couple of times otherwise a perfect pace throughout the round. There were a few winter tees, playing off mats, however, every green was in play and they were all in fabulous condition. Staff were friendly and helpful, the day was great value for money. Will definitely play again

Greens had been worked on, the first 4 was a bit rough the rest was good. I would play it again. When the greens are ready.

First time playing the course. Good course. Makes you think about the shots you need to play unlike some courses where you hit driver off almost every tee.

Greens we're in great condition. Very tricky and fast.

Only disappointing thing was the state of the tee boxes. All of them were bare. Get them to a good standard and it will be a very nice course.

Course as usual in great condition, greens excellent.

Not sure where else you can get a round of golf at 3.20pm on a Saturday for twenty quid - especially not at a course as good as this. I agree with earlier reviews that the tee boxes were well below par but I had dry conditions and was wearing spiked shoes so had no issues described by other reviewers. The rest of the course conditions were just top notch. Unfortunately, I was behind a two ball who were pretty decent golfers but not decent enough to repair their pitch marks. The reception staff member was very friendly and welcoming. I thoroughly recommend this course to players of all abilities.

Overall in good condition despite the recent very hot weather. A well set out Course with varying length Par 4’s. The greens were excellent albeit that some of the tees looked a bit worn, mainly through the dry weather. Enjoyable.

Good value for money. Greens in excellent condition, but tees poor. Varied holes with good layout

2nd time playing this course and was really disappointed with tee box areas. Not a blade of grass to be seen on any of them. Made each tee shot very difficult as you just slipped in the wet conditions
