Sunday round
Staff were pleasant- some of the greens lacked some
Love and the odd rat seen running around- other than that an enjoyable round of golf!
Nice course layout. Greens quite good but fairways patchy as no growth. Dog walkers about but no problem. Enjoyed our round.
Value for money
Was pleasantly surprised considering other reviews I've read.
It's a public course, so there are dog walkers, pedestrians etc which did slow pace of play down a little, however I didn't mind as it's quite a physically demanding course in places and was happy with the short breaks of play.
Decent course and value for money, was impressed and will be back.
Worst course I've ever played!!
Blown away by how horrendous this golf course is (if you can call it a golf course). It had the appearance of a recycling unit. I like grass on fairways when I play; this was like playing off concrete and the bounces you'd get were random, like playing roulette with your ball. Was used as a park walk for joggers and dog walkers. There was a strong smell of urine at various points on the course. I wouldn't play it again if I was paid to play it!!!
Far to many public dog walkers
Great course but really let down with the amount of public walking their dogs and family’s with young children just freely walking around, even on the greens. I felt like they hated us being there and playing golf with the nasty looks we were getting. Some people were ok and moved out the way but majority felt it was their right to be there not us. Won’t be coming back as there are so many other courses that you can go to without this problem. This is my honest review and my own opinion. Others may not care about this issue but it ruined my game of golf.
Beautiful course- very well maintained- great value for money.
First visit of this course and not a thing to complain about. It’s a beautiful course to walk around with exceptionally well maintained fairways and greens. The holes are varied and give you a good all round game. Easily the best value for money course I have been to and will be returning often.
Course Greens and Tees need eirk
All the tees were off mats, the greens were just satisfactory. Bunkers had not been maintained,. Clubhouse/cafe closed for private function .
A tired course
This used to be a great course, now it's over-played and under -maintained , poor fairways with little grass, uneven greens, little signage, car park rammed due to football match nearby, not a pleasant experience 😕
Terrible greens , constant dog walkers in fairways with dogs running on and off of greens would not recommend.

Queens Park golf course
Very wet condition , however the course was playable , very wet in places however after 4 days of constant rain it was no surprise, friendly staff , no hold ups , recommend this course especially in its full glory
Wet conditions due to weather but a very playable course
Always a test , winter conditions as expected , but wait until QP is in its full glory … cracking value for money
Every course is closed except queens 👏🐳
Hello,, another round at Queens Park,,😎
Rain or shine “Queenie”never fails to be a great test,,,, it’s been raining for weeks,,no one’s gonna look to book a round unless your in the know,,,,the course still plays really well,, plenty of carry in the right areas of the fairways,,, greens are battered at allways,,
But extremely playable so leave the excuses in the car,,😂
Allways friendly staff and other players on the course,,,,
Don’t take yourself to seriously and enjoy the fact it even open on days like this,,,,💯👍
Good and bad
First time played, this is great value for a golf course with some really good holes. Each hole was interesting. However, the fact it is a park with a lot of walkers and dog walkers who literally come out from anywhere and obviously take priority means it’s is difficult to get your game going. One lady threw her dogs ball onto the green which isn’t on. Greens pretty poor but it is winter. It’s such a shame. But again, great value.
Winter golf
Greed a little ropey but overall a good round of golf
Winter course
This is a good winter course as it is not quite firm even after lots of rain.
This ISN'T a golf course.
By far the worst golf experience in Dorset.
100s of dogwalkers crisscrossing through the course, no awareness of where their dogs are. None on leads.
Dog poo everywhere. Dogwalkers hunting around with bags to fill with golf balls (3 stolen in 1 round).
Horrendous. If you love your golf, play anywhere else.
