I played the course during the drought and the fairways were rock hard. Played again on Sunday and with the couple of days rain, they have softened up quite a bit but still run off loads. We followed a club competition, and the greens had been freshly cut and ironed and were very fast. Some of the greens are very technical, so definitely test your putting ability. I have played this course several times and there are always one or two surprises.

Played 2 courses and this was by far in the best condition. Course layout was good and easy to find subsequent holes. Enjoyed this course.

Greens were well looked after.

Bunker placement was challenging on certain holes.

Second time playing here, and despite the lack of rain the course is in great shape overall. Staff here are amongst the best I’ve come across, very welcoming for non-members. Not a long course but plenty to think about and it gives improving golfers a chance. Greens and t- boxes are in good shape. Some slow play but was able to play through. If it had a driving range I’d come back more often. Great value for money. In the area.

If you’re new to golf or semi good this is a perfect course.

Reasonable price, should be cheaper if you wanna play 9 holes though.

Nice course but be wary of getting hit by stray balls if the course is busy

Nice challenging golf course, greens were in very good condition! Non-members not allowed to play from the back tees (white) which was a little disappointing but overall would recommend.

It’s a course you have to think about and plot your way round. It a lovely looking course and very well maintained would definitely go back again.

Really enjoyed my evening here tonight. A last minute booking a more that reasonable price. The course is one of the best draining ones I've ever played. The course is very well maintained and the greens ran well. Considering that we have had quite a mix of weather lately. All was bone dry bar the back left bunker of the 16th hole. I would have very little concern playing here in winter.

There are a lot of drivable par fours which give you a real ego boost if you actually manage to hit a good tee shot. My only real concern is that some of the holes are slightly close together so wayward drives could be treacherous. Walking between the second and third tee. A ball flew over my head and into the water from which I could only work out came from people teeing off on the ninth. I wouldn't have heard a shout from there if they did call out because of the hill dividing. Other than that, A real peach of a find. Would definitely recommend and would play again.

I come from Brighton but did not mind travelling so far to play at this course. Found the staff very pleasant and helpful and the course was in very good condition. Also, being non hilly is just what I like. Plenty of challenging holes with bunkers galore and water hazards. Definitely recommend this course.

Played here for the first time Friday & really enjoyed it, enjoyable mix up of holes & the greens & fairways were in great condition. Will definitely be playing here again.
