Lingdale Golf Club

A really good test of your golf.

Undulating, thought provoking, dogleg left, dogleg right, long hold, shorter holes, this is a lovely course. Fairways are dry and the ball bounds forever, following club members was a real help as course knowledge is key. Off course amenities are excellent, putting, chipping, nets, and a use your own balls hitting area..

Dan in the shop was a real gent, members were decent and allowed quicker players through.

Greens had recently been sanded, I’d expect that to be rectified within a week.

Overall, a really enjoyable game and I’ll be back sometime soon. Thanks.

What a fabulous gem of a course, well maintained and in great nick. Challenging course although not long - you really have to think about your shorts and greens are super maintained and run well. Pro shop shut on arrival, bar staff could not have been less interested or were not helpful; but we all have bad days at work I guess ! Overall a great course and well worth the green fee ( a sign from 8th green to 9th tee would be helpful - we wandered around a bit as it wasn’t obvious)

I want to join this club in the near future.

Nice round spoilt on the 11th tee box by a member accusing us of pushing in. The group in Front of us went in after 9. Apparently he was in front of them but as we left the 9th we went to stock up with drinks and snack then moved over the road and there’s still no sign of anyone so we played on, He only shown up on 10th as we tee’s off on 11. Giving us abuse all down the fairway and at most holes there after.

Considering the time of year the course was in great condition, with all greens running very very well and true surprisingly. Playing off mats but the quality of them was great and didn’t effect the game (deeper holes possibly needed for longer tees to fit). Overall a fantastic course and we would definitely return

Premier Leicestershire course intreat nick for very reasonable price

A wonderful course with breathtaking views. Very friendly club, good food and was made to feel very welcome.

I had a very enjoyable afternoon at Lingdale. For £25 it was fantastic value for money. Very well looked after and some well thought out holes.

All of the staff were very friendly and I got round as a single player in just over three hours (even with some senior groups in front).

If I’m in the area again I’ll certainly be back.

Lovely course great condition very testing - loved it

Overall the course was really beautiful and some great holes, the only downfall was the pace of play really busy and 3-4 group back logs

decent course, greens were like glass so very hard to judge chips and putts! Very challenging holes including downhill and uphill.

A good golf course with very quick greens though.

Pace of play was bit slow due to various 'competitions' between groups with some of them playing the back nine twice.

Apart from this, we had a good time.

From the opening tee shot to the tricky downhill Pat 3 finish. This course had me hooked. Preferred the old front 9 to the back but that’s me being picky. Challenges and traps aplenty but fair all the same and the greens were immaculate. Can’t wait to play it again

After running across the course while chasing my daughter during cross country training I finally got to play the course using club's. The course is challenging and interesting at the same time. Had a great afternoon and were greeted by very friendly staff at the 19th.

Shame we got caught out behind a very bad society or comp day , all members on the t’s very friendly and club house well stocked thankfully , don’t let this put you off , very well run and a joy to play
