Decent course, but not amazing
I think for the price of £35 this course is pretty average. I don’t think The fact that the course was quite waterlogged because of the weather we’ve had helped. I just found the grass along the fairways not to be kept very well. That being said the greens were immaculate probably wouldn’t recommend to a friend for the price.
Birstall good course
Course was in exceptional condition, both fairways and greens were in great condition
Staff have always been friendly here and the pace was quick but not too fast to not enjoy it
We did not sample the 19th hole so cannot comment on facilities
Challenge for anyone
Today was great but don’t recommend carrying on a hot day like today! If the pros didn’t have caddies I think they would find this course challenging. Over all a great course and would recommend it to anyone who plays in pairs or with in a society as some of the low handicap players might struggle which opens it up for a great game.

Meticulous 100yr + course from the start to end. Well maintained by members. Everything very well established.
Great hidden gem
Played on a Friday morning at 10am. Course was in great condition following a wet night before. Greens and tees smooth . Pace of play was good. Food was excellent ,great staff throughout and members friendly to visitors. Well worth a visit.

Just to go out for the day picked out this course on golf now about 45 mins from my home.could not have picked any better, quite day and golf course in excellent condition quite a long course for me but fair well sign posted for next tees. Spoke with one of the green staff who was very friendly and told me alot about the course will be back soon with my golf buddies?
Course in great nick, as it is most times we’ve played. Staff always friendly and welcoming.

Society golf
Played Birstall Sunday 5th February. Course was in great condition as usual. Greens are superb here. We love playing Birstall. I think it’s the best course in Leicestershire. Can’t wait to go back
Great round at Birstall
Apart from the November leaves we had a really good game. The greens and the bunkers were exceptional.
