Lovely Course to Play
Lullingstone golf course was a little tricky to get to due to narrow lanes but was well worth the effort. Our visit started worth meeting very friendly and helpful staff. The course featured lovely views over the countryside. A long course with some challenging holes. Due to recently wet weather, mud and soft conditions were ever present, however this is a course worth playing again in dry conditions and I certainly will
Nice course, quite long, especially when wet. Undulating course, follows the hills contours, which adds an extra challenge, asking with the trees. Decent tee boxes & greens.
Nice views, good little course
Ground was very saturated due to heavy rain, nice little course, probably more enjoyable in the summer. Wide open fairways and some great views of the rolling landscape. Greens were very slow and not as well kept imo as other courses. Generally smaller greens which posed a good challenge, but not many other challenges due to the wide parkland with a wide margin for error. Overall a good course, good pace of play considering they were all 3 or 4 balls in front. Clubhouse and facilities were a tad worn, and basic. Overall not the best but not the worst. Green fee was ok considering but would have been any more and ot would not have been good value
Beautiful views and lovely open course
Beautiful (and long) course close to the M25. Played the full 18 with its very forgiving wide and undulating fairways.
Loads of fun and amazing views on this walk. 10/10 will be back
Good for all abilities
A well maintained and enjoyable course.
Played 5 Sep after a week of heavy rain.
Various of the holes feature fabulous views.
Most fairways are wide open and thus forgiving for high handicappers. Nevertheless, many well designed and challenging holes.
Some reviews from 2024 comment on poorly maintained tees and greens.
We found all greens in great condition and all tees except 17 and 18 (which were both temporary but fine) also good.
Suggest focus on 2025 reviews and ignore those from 2024 as improvements have clearly been made.
Friendly clubhouse staff and we enjoyed both pre-round butties and a post-round pint.
Excellent value for money.
Play here if you want to get good at golf
Amazing challenging course. Real hidden gem. £25 per round I learn more than any lesson could ever teach. Bring extra balls
Great test for all at a great price
I've played lullingstone several times over the last couple of years.
Yes the course has a few issues with some of the greens and a couple of tee boxes but it's fantastic value for money with stunning views on a nice day..
It's a long trek on the many sloping fairways and several uphill raised greens...
Great test for all abilities too...
Good Value
Played today and the course was very dry but the rain that accompanied us for the back 9 will help. Very fair course with wide fairways but very hilly. Greens were fair but quite slow and some of the tee boxes need some tlc but overall course was in decent condition. Friendly staff in clubhouse and pro shop. Only gripe was slow pace of play. A 3-ball in front of us (we were a 2-ball) were very slow. We let 2 solo golfers play through but the 3-ball didn’t and caused quite some stacking up behind them. Apart from that, it was a very enjoyable outing.
Nice course
Hadn’t played here for 13 years and went back as price was good on GolfNow. Course was in good condition, was nice and quiet when we went out, lovely sunny day, and played really well which always helps. Course is quite sloppy, but has nice wide fairways. A couple of temp tees towards the end but overall thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely play again.
Good course and nice friendly staff.
Somewhat challenging but enjoyable 18H for a high handicap golfer. Greens weren’t in good condition. Great pace, got round in 4 hours exactly.
Nice food and a drink afterwards.
Great play to play spring summer
Winter we like ploughing a field but spring summer the course in in great condition mostly , greens a little poor in places but overall great value and a hidden gem, condition , layout and views .. hilly in places but a decent long course
Value for money
As somebody who currently isn’t a member this is a great course and excellent value for money at £25 mid week.
As a public course the main course is excellent and offers a decent challenge given its long. The greens are what you would expect of a public course and were average condition and very slow for this time of year especially given the weather but at £25 you couldn’t expect too much. Given other courses around kent that are charging £60-70 midweek for bang average courses this is good value and fun as even as a long hitter there is plenty of opportunities to get the big stick out
Set in beautiful countryside
Lovely views of the Kent countryside, it's the longest course I've played to date as a fairly new golfer but loved the layout and variation in holes, nice and challenging in places.
Friendly staff in clubhouse and bar and amazing value for money, will definitely play again ASAP.
A course with stunning scenery
Second time playing here and we really enjoyed it. The course is set in stone really beautiful countryside and it's just really relaxing. The layout features really keen holes with quite fairways; you'll enjoy hitting a lot of drives. Not a hard course either. Shame the greens were a bit woolly and need water. That was the only downside. Great value (on a Monday afternoon when we played), I'd definitely recommend
