Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf, & Spa

A great venue for a round of golf. The course is lovely, very open but some long challenging holes. Few holes the fairways were very muddy and some greens patchy in places but in fairness to the staff, we were warned beforehand and given the option to postpone and I believe the price of the round reflected this.

The other holes were in fantastic condition.

Would recommend and look forward to playing there again. Pro shop was very friendly and helpful.

Having not played here for a number of years but remembering a long challenging course in great condition we where a little surprised to see the fairways in not very good conditions (yes we understand that this time year of year is always a little muddy but we where very much caked in mud as where our trolleys and bags). This didn't particularly dampen our day and we enjoyed the course and will return in the spring

Played here in July and course was in great condition. Seems that the torrential rains of September have taken their toll. Holes around the lakes are fine as they clearly drain. Most away from those water features are in poor health. it should be noted that all greens are all in a good state.

Going to need to wait for late spring 2025 to revisit.

We booked a 3 baller via golf now. We tried to book another person to our group at the course but couldn't as we got told someone else had joined our group. Our tee time then was pushed back from 2:30 to 3:10 resulting in us playing the last 2 holes in virtual darkness. Other than that, great course with lots of water hazards. Considering the rain in recent days and weeks. The course was in good condition.

Fantastic course. Challenging from certain tee shots. Fairways in really good condition and the greens ran really well. Thoroughly enjoyed the round even if it was heavy winds and showers.

Great course, great facilities, staff really helpful and friendly. Will certainly be playing again.

Only thing is missing is map of the hole on tee box.. as being first time, didn’t know what behind trees .. but that is applicable to only few holes where u don’t know what’s in front

Course in very good condition considering lots of rain recently

Very good course, I lost a few balls in the rough, but thats my fault for not hitting it straight lol Great value and well recommended.

Absolutely beautiful place, no bunkers but some tight fairways and lots of fescue. Greens were very good and nice pace lots of subtle breaks. Great experience, does help that it was the hottest day of the year so far. Overall wonderful experience!

Courses long and wide with a few holes with interesting features. No clubhouse as such . A bar that is inside a stable complex. However service was very slow .with a long queue for the hour.we were there before we played .maybe waiting 20 minutes to be served. There was no view of the golf course from the bar . The changing room and shower were very basic with only one shower in operation . This was surprising considering that at Luton Hoo is supposed to be an up market country club /golf/spa complex .Overall the experience was pleasant but not superior to any other private golf course .Regards Dennis .

Enjoyed the course but not off the course. The 19th bar is not open inside or out so off course facilities were limited to sitting outside a crowded restaurant with very limited offering for a snack and drinks. Pro shop try to provide a limited offering but shuts later in the day resulting in a top golf and country club not being able to offer more than basic service

Really is a lovely setting and perhaps leads to think the course will be the same standard.

Obviously the weather has been dry and the course has suffered but quite bare in places. Layout is fine and a reasonable test but as my title suggests the impression is its tired and a little unloved

Oh yes, two very weak lager shandies, £16.48 inc service charge! Perhaps my fault for drinking shandy :)
