Billy Ramsay
Thanks To All At Marton Meadow for a great afternoon.
Opportunity to improve short game
The course is not only ideal for beginners who are looking to learn the skills of the game without having to try to hit the ball long, but is a great opportunity for any golfer to improve their short game in a shorter time frame than a round on a longer course. Conditions were excellent and poor shots were punished.
Class day out
Been going Marton for a few years now, they’ve really done the course up well and still improving constantly! Great value for money and the staff are all so nice and welcoming! Would definitely recommend!
Good well kept course
If you can’t commit to a full sized course then this is perfect. par 3 (except from 9th) well kept greens and just a tidy overall course with good sized fairways!
Loved it!!!!
Great little course, cannot wait to see the developments finished. Thanks and see you again soon.
Amazing Club and extremely relaxed and friendly atmosphere
Ive been playing golf for 9 months now and this course has been the perfect place to learn the game. No nonsense or usual golf course politics just nice people, relaxed atmosphere and great par 3 course.
Marton Meadow
Great little par 3 course, would recommend to anyone who's starting to play or wants to practice there short game.
Fab little course
A great little course, really well looked after, great staff and a fab hour or two of golf, what’s not to love!
Mr larkin
My wife and me had great morning the course was good ,staff were great and food great we will be going back again
Great course for beginners
Having recently taken up golf with my son 13 our pga professional tutor recommended this course as a good place to start.
I've played a couple of games prior with a golf society and my son hadn't played at all.
We were Warmley welcomed at the reception
The course is mainly par 3 holes with the 9th a par 4. Greens were good but I wasn't a big fan of winter tees
They is a big putting practice area both grass and artificial and booths to practice your shots before starting.
It has to be one of the best courses around here to cut your teeth into golf. Some experienced or gold golfers may find it to easy but for the level me and my son are at it was perfect.
There are big plans for the course with a clubhouse getting built and land brought to make the holes more par 4.
The golf acdemy for young golfers seemed reasonably priced also.
Fantastic staff
What an amazing group of staff who totally looked after us when I made an online error in booking… the course is brilliant for your short game, mostly par 3 with the 9th being a little longer. Won’t suit everyone in terms of size but I enjoyed using my irons more. Greens were in great condition and surprisingly fast.
Excellent Par 3 course
Great location, very friendly and accommodating, thoroughly recommend
Pitch Marks.
We. Have been playing the course since you paid the farmer in the honesty box. the transformation to the course today has been great.
The only thing which is frustrating is repairing pitch marks on the greens.
You would have thought that a golfer landing their ball on the green would be more than pleased… and looking forward to repairing the pitch mark as part of the etiquette of golf .
Perhaps signs .. at the tee off points, and around the course at the sides of the fairway would help remind us all
Many thanks for the usual welcome. Look forward to playing again … great for the short game
