About
Melton Mowbray Club has been in existence since 1925 and provides a friendly and comfortable clubhouse with bar menu's and full catering is also available. The professional and his staff are available to help with golf equipment from a well stocked shop or lessons on the practice area and putting green.
An easy walking heathland course with many trees lining the fairways. Straight hitting and careful course management will always be rewarded as well a deft touch around the closely guarded but receptive green.

Course in good condition despite the weather.
Pro shop staff wonderful. Shame our play wasn't of the same standard. It's a good course and great value! We will be back.
Great greens
On arrival met the Vice Captain, gave us all the info we needed and directed us to changing rooms.
Course was in excellent condition and members and staff very friendly.
After the game we had a drink and a bite to eat good prices and lovely food, then the VC popped in to see how we’d enjoyed the course.
Will definitely visit again
Great golf course
We play Melton each time we stay with family here. Really nice course, great food afterwards. Very challenging course layout, quite long and lots of trouble if you don’t hit it straight! Staff friendly and members always make you feel welcome.
Good challenging course
Lovely course. Greens where great. Very friendly staff in the club house. Only downside to the day was the green keeping staff, who kept in cutting and tending the course, and not stopping to allow us to take our shots, which held us up. First time we have come across this. Was going to inform the golf pro after we finished. But he was otherwise engaged.
Very Impressed
I drive past this course every day on the way to work and so thought I would give it a go....I play every week on different courses and today was my 1st time at Melton....This course is in fantastic condition....it is extremely well maintained with all levels of cuts perfect and the greens outstanding...nice and quick and tough to read....the practice facilities are fantastic with the driving range one of the best I’ve seen in a long time and great value for money at £1 for 25 balls......I highly recommend this course and very much look forward to playing here again in the near future....a great parkland course suitable for any level of golfer......big thumbs up!

GREAT Course Friendly People
Excellent value for a late booking there had been quite a lot of rain the previous day and after a long dry spell the course had drained well, I was informed on arrival that the greens had been hollow tined etc, however this did not detract too much from their performance they were still very responsive, considering I followed a four ball the pace of pay was very good all the way round. considering the weather recently the course was in very good condition the members and all staff very friendly and helpful will definitely play the course again.
Excellent condition
I played the course everyday when I was a junior, This year was the first time back in 20 years.
The course has matured and is a joy to play.
The members couldn't be more welcoming and the value for money is second to none.
Well done to all involved at Melton you can be very proud.
A lovely course
Played today course was in great condition only minor complaint the bunkers could have more/better sand but don't let that put you off its a lovely course and a good challenge had to use every club in the bad

Interesting layout course, not too long, but challenging and in great condition. Couple of humps and hollows holes which are a bit wearing but tests your skills. Good facilities, toilets on hole ten.

Had a wonderful day, course in good condition. We had Sunday lunch food was excellent and plenty of it at a reasonable price.

This was the first time I had played here for a long time and found it very good. They were doing work on the greens as can be expected but they will be very good when complete
