About
Melton Mowbray Club has been in existence since 1925 and provides a friendly and comfortable clubhouse with bar menu's and full catering is also available. The professional and his staff are available to help with golf equipment from a well stocked shop or lessons on the practice area and putting green.
An easy walking heathland course with many trees lining the fairways. Straight hitting and careful course management will always be rewarded as well a deft touch around the closely guarded but receptive green.

Very good condition
Played at melton for the first time today nice chap in the golf shop we followed a 4 ball out steady on the front 9 and allowed us to pass after 9 course in a very good condition considering the weather lately greens unpredictable but makes it harder to judge all round a good course we are defo going back some friendly members there to chatting away in the beer garden after 100% recommend
Excellent value for money
A round of golf for under£20. Course in great condition and the greens were excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable round of golf. Staff are very welcoming and friendly.
Course looked great
Course in great condition. Only gripe is that the greens were quite bobbly causing the ball to jump around when putting. The grass needed a trim as was quite long. Other than this the course was in great condition..had a decent round of golf
An excellent place to play
Payed for one-ball but put in a four-ball. They let me go out alone and the pace was very good. Joined up with a member who was very friendly and welcoming from hole 7. Really enjoyed the course. Excellent condition, challenging but playable. Very well planned holes.
Will definitely be back.
Course was in excellent condition, green also in excellent condition staff helpful and friendly would indeed play here again. Well recommend anyone to play here 5 stars and more.
Lovely days golf
Friendly Pro shop, gave us a few tips about the course. Very well maintained ànd enjoyable. The maintenance staff did get a little close at times and one in particular was a little frustrating, but with that aside a good experience
Busy maintenance day
First dry morning for a few days; maintenance staff were out in numbers, on tees, greens and fairways, resulting in a few holdups. An enjoyable round, in spite of this.
Good course
Good course, for me the greens needed a cut but weather was awful that day so that might be the reason, very very friendly staff in the pro shop, showed us to the 1st tee told us about their flag system, will return when it’s better weather instead of 25 mph winds and chucking it down with rain!
