great day out, great green with some nice holes. top view of Stratford from the tee on the 8th. the starter ran through how to play to the course with some top tips like don't go left of the green on the 7th. The only down points were the play was slow with lots of groups playing but apart from that will back

I visited the course following a couple of days of heavy rain. The condition of the course was good and tees and greens in great condition. Enjoyable day and the friendly staff enhanced the day.

We booked the welcome online and asked the day before whether the greens were any good, The course manager had said the greens were fine even though they were hollow toned to the lads out of the eight people Who played struggle to get round the course so the day before we asked if there was any buggies available they said yes but on the day we got there is no buggies available, The greens were in terrible condition mode on your ball on most shots

Really enjoyed the course. Course and greens in very good condition for time of year.

There are a lot of inclines so could be very challenging for some people, would recommend a buggy.

Good value all round. Will be going back.

Good service from bar staff and golf shop pro...layout of course was good but greens have been hollow tined leaving them slow but that's the peril of winter golf...cant wait to return to reap the benefits....

Course layout is excellent with a few long par 4's so a great test for any level of golfer,I've played the course a few times over the years & it's always been in mint condition

A long course but so really interesting holes and surprisingly hilly - I'm not sure I'd like to play it at the height of summer but at least in Feb my ball stayed on some of the up slopes! Greens had just been aerated but still played well. Great value for money.

Course was in great condition for time of year. Firm turf, pristine bunkers, Greens had been spiked but were still true and fast. Course layout very good and lots of interesting holes. A lovely sunny day too was a bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.

Hadn’t played since 2015; great value and a nice track. Greens a bit slow but it is February. Followed multiple senior groups so 4hrs15min was a bit slow. All-in-All a good challenge, a good day

Lovely course and scenic views, but the frozen state of the course made it seem a bit like crazy golf. Will play again in warmer climate. Great value at £17.50

Set in a great looking area the course is quite testing with several blind tee shots. Definitely a thinking golfers course. Well kept greens and fairways. Will most certainly be returning

Find it difficult to understand why it can not be posted on the website about trolleys or carry only especially on courses which are hilly as struggle with knee

Us, the group in front and behind got absolutely stacked up after 2 holes behind a very low ability society.

We took 4 and a half hours to play 18 holes and they went in after 15! Would have been 5 hours easy if they hadn’t and would have run out of light.

So annoying as not normally like that here.

Clubs need to stop allowing societies on at Weekends. Get the moment out of them on week days.

We always visit The Welcombe for some ‘Winter’ golf.

It makes a welcome change from playing our own course and have always found it playable.

Great value for money also!
