Very good
I think the course is fantastic for the price, it’s in great condition lovely layout with a few challenging holes. Staff are very friendly would 100% be back to play again.

monthly golf away day
the whole day went very well form the time we booked in with the pro shop, course in very good condition throughout not a long course very good interesting holes/layout, all staff and members we came into contact with were very helpful and friendly, particularly the club house staff. all our party enjoyed the day, we will definitely return in the future.
Great parkland layout & welcoming Club
First time at Mickleover GC - from arrival (the friendliness in the Pro Shop) until we left the whole experience was a pleasure. A really nice course - not long, but requiring accuracy, and with excellent, fast greens. Followed by a nice lunch in the Clubhouse - great value.
All staff were friendly and welcoming, and I'd recommend to golfers of all standards.

We had a wonderful day for golf , sunshine no wind The course was very interesting not long but tight I would recommend this course to everybody certainly value for money

Course was busy but the play flowed nicely. Course was in v. Gud condition.Scored 36 on stapleford so all in all a great day.
Challenging short coure
A challenging short course, one you would want to play again haviing experienced the layout.
Professional was very helpful,welcoming and courteous. Members around the course were very good and friendly once they realised you were a visitor.
A great challenge for golfers of all abilities
Played the course today for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it, so much that there was a unanimous decision to play it again in the near future. It's a good leveller for golfers of all abilities as it's about positional play and not just big hitting. A very warm welcome awaits from staff and members at this hidden gem just on the outskirts of Derby,
Great Course
Course in very good condition, especially after recent weeks wet Weather. Greens good, and general condition also good. Facilities also good.

Slow play.
Booked a tee for 11.09. When we arrived it was ladies day and we were behind 9 groups of 3 ladies. When you book on teeofftimes your not warned of this because it showed we had loads of times to chose from.
Excellent as ever
Glad to return to mickleover haven't played here in months and the course didn't disappoint, was in a 4ball wasn't held up once and allowed a two ball to play through when they were behind, course in excellent condition , members very friendly as always, as were all the staff, looking forward to return again!
So different from last time i played it.
Always wanted to play again having not played it for 30 years. Mickelover didn't let me down. The course was in excellent condition, fairways, greens immaculate.Lots more trees now which makes it a good test of golf. Locker room, bar facilities, friendliness of staff & pro. excellent.
