Fun course , but oh so slow

An interesting but short course , with tricky doglegs and changes of elevation . Good greens with a true roll but should have been faster for the time of year

Day spoilt by pace of play , I followed a group of ladies playing in pairs , who even stopped for a cup of tea at the private halfway house and still didn't let me through or acknowledge I was there

Over 4 hours for a course 5400 yards is terrible, this is a shame as enjoyed the course and everyone else I met was very friendly, would like to have another crack at the course but because of the slow round I will not be returning

FIRST TIME PERCEPTION

BEAUTIFUL SHORT YET CHALLENGING COURSE WITH EXCELLENT TRUE-PLAYING FAST GREENS.

COULD DO WITH AT LEAST 2LONG PAR5s TO MAKE IT MORE CHALLENGING.

worth a visit

Good course, interesting to play, ground holds water so very wet to play if there has been heavy rain the previous day. That said if you get the chance, play there you will not be disappointed.

Mickleover's finest.

Friendly Club a very enjoyable round although the last 4 holes proved difficult to score.

Food and hospitality first class. Golf course in very good condition, a must play again before winter arrives.

What a gem

Mickleover was not too long, but somewhat challenging nonetheless. The greens were superb and the hole designs inventive. Lack of roll was actually a help to avoid the tree linings of the lush fairways. "I wonder where this one goes" was a perpetual query, followed by its close ally "I'd like to play that hole again." LOVED IT.
