Darrington Golf Club

This was a pretty last minute booking so we looked for somewhere with easy access, this was ideal.

Very good condition for rhe time of year, green ran pretty true.

Each process, nice driving range to warm up in, off we went.

I enjoyed the course, overall a few too many dog legs but still very much enjoyed my round.

Consensus of our 4 ball is we would certainly play again

Always love playing here. We teed off at 4pm and practically had the course to ourselves. Greens were in great nick, as usual, and the faiways were still green even after the lack of rain.

Will defo be back

Really enjoyed. Conditions were perfect. Members and staff very friendly. Coarse layout easy to follow. Good day out.

Fun, testing but score-able. Course was in fantastic shape and was paired with a local who gave me some good knowledge.

Despite early winter weather conditions, course was playing well. Winter mats and normal greens. Slow pace on my visit, waited at least 5 minutes at every tee box.

One new experience: after my tee shot into par 3 18th, groundsman nipped in and moved position of the hole!!! Anyome have a r&a ruling kn that one!!??

A great course, that's a really interesting and fair challenge. Everything about our experience today was too class, staff were friendly and the golf excellent - will defo return soon.

Slow play due to over crowding but all in all a good round

First time I have played at the course expected big things as i was thinking of changing my membership to here. Fairways were a disgrace, although the greens were ok. Booked for myself and got stuck behind a society who wouldn’t let me play through. Was advised by a member to miss some holes out, only ended up doing 9 holes. The 17th had no directional marker, ended up playing in the wrong direction with my tee shot. Will not be playing this course ever again and will not be recommending it.

I've played on this course a few times, not the longest or most challenging but well put together with some nice features. A little muddy in places but it had been raining quiet hard the day before but the course was in good condition. We were lucky in that there was no one in front so could set our own pace, 3 of us round in just over 3 hours.
