The course is in excellent condition, well done lads.
PERFECT WEATHER AND VERY DRY UNDERFOOT
A very nice 9 hole course with some extra tee positions when playing the 'back 9' to add a bit of additional interest. This is probably the best draining course in the region and what a pleasure it was to be able to play without slogging through mud, we were even getting a bit of roll-out on our drives and long irons! We used a 'Hot Deal' to get a discount ut then found out we could have got it even cheaper through a reciprocal deal in place with our home course - we'll know better next time. The tee boxes, fairways and bunkers were in very good condiiton for the time of year but the greens were a bit slow due to recent sanding - even so we had a great afternoon with no hold ups and nobody pressing us.
In great condition for the time of year.
The course was in great condition after all the wet weather.
They had just gone back to full tees, fairways and greens and for £22 it was a good deal.
It's obviously well looked after by the greens keepers but staff in the cabin weren't friendly or really helpful.
Wouldn't be rushing back but would play again at that price at this time of year when other course are struggling with the wet weather.
1st time at Ferrybridge
The course was in unbelievabley good condition. You would never know that it had rained constantly for 2 months. Very forgiving and enjoyable course
Great course
Great course got a driving range a chipping green and a putting green great fairways and up kept greens a great place to play golf
First time here
The course is very well looked after, the greens were very fast but in excellent condition,it was very busy and at bit slow at times, but it didn’t ruin the day, will definitely come back again.
Great course, well kept, but make sure you ask for the gate code.
Would recommend this course really well kept. The only draw back we had was playing 18 holes teeing off at 2:30pm we didnt finish until the everything was shutting up. Signed in and there was not mention of what time the gate to get out would lock or the code that we would need to open the gate after all staff had left. We finished the round at around 6:30pm and as we were packing up we saw the member of staff that had served us leaving. She drove off and again did not mention that we would need a code to unlock the gate to get out. We went to leave assuming the gate would open automatically once you approached it from the inside. It did not open but luckily there were 2 cars left in the car park and the people were also just finishing their round. They did know the code to get out so we were able to leave. This was very frustrating as had there not been anyone left we would have been completely stuck with the member of staff that served us having multiple opportunities to have helped us but didn’t. To add insult to injury the number to call if the gate does not open is clearly stated… on the outside of the gate and it is not visible from the outside. Make sure you ask for the code if you thinl you will be leaving later than 5:30pm.
Unfriendly Members!
Played Front nine was lovely, teed up for back nine sign says wait for the bell group in front didn’t ring bell so the group teeing off after me were saying I’m delaying thier tee off time and if I wait for the bell I’ll be waiting all day? Played the next 3 holes and group in front let me play through, I hit my ball stepped forward 10 yards then they start hitting balls I’ve the top of my head! Picked my ball up walked off the course! Complained at reception (Lady on reception was lovely btw) I asked if the were members and he said they was. shocking golf etiquette from both groups!
Great green conditions
Played this course for the first time , a hidden gem .
The condition was good and the greens running lovely .
Only thing to let it down was as a nine hole ,there was a back log of groups for the back 9 and sadly larger groups did not call smaller groups through , so ended up a slow game .
Would play the course again though
Forgiving
Played here a few times now and I've always been impressed. Well kept fairways and greens, bunkers are tricky and the different tee positions on some of the holes make for a very good 9/18 holes.
Great little course
Gem of a course for a quick knock. Played off mats ( extra £5) which wasn't necessary as it was bone dry.
So slow
Hi booked with golf now wanted to put me in a 4 ball but luckily the lady gave me an early time 3 ball in front I think members made me wait on every tee box could of let me through 4 ball in front took over 3 minutes to find there ball in back 9 I was on 9th hole a 4 ball was in 3rd hole and I caught them up took them 15 minutes to walk 120 yards the two women went back to the tee box to tee off again but still went to find there balls told staff just laughed I’ve enjoyed this course before but won’t be going back
Excellent
As always course is in excellent condition, it may only have 9 holes, but the extra tee boxes give enough variety it doesn’t matter.
Everyone is friendly, and I have enjoyed every visit
