Nazeing Golf Club

Course held up well after driving rain for 3/4 of round , since I last played Nazeing there has been quite a few improvements but something that has not improved is the rough just a few yards from the fairway to the extent that most of the time you hadn’t managed to get on the shorter grass we gave up looking for the ball as at times it was so long you had no chance finding it , overall though a very nice parkland course

This course gets better every time I play it. Only played it twice this year but it is superb. The greens and fairways are immaculate.

Given the recent weather, the course was in good overall condition. All tee boxes were mats but that's understandable. Practice areas were well kept and staff were friendly. No hold ups on the course.

Love everything about this place.Fab layout,fab greens,fab views.Never tire of visiting NGC.

This course is easily one of my favourites in Hertfordshire. Very very good value. Layout is fun throughout the 18 and a fair challenge for a mid handicapper like me, well protected by bunkers and heavy rough. Definitely recommend.

Only slight negative is the clubhouse is very dated but the staff were super friendly and the food was good. The course itself was in great condition as were the greens. All round good value.

It was a great experience, very good pace of play. Friendly staff and really good course condition. I’ll definitely come back there.

Nazeing is probably the best course I have played around the Essex area, well looked after tee to Greens

Tees, fairways and greens in excellent condition, bunkers well maintained although I did not have to use them. Like anywhere the rough and some 2nd cut can be punishing. Keeping outside the white line around the greens can tiresome but respect the objective.

Will play again worth a visit after 12 noon at £24.

Played a 2 ball on a Thursday at 11:30

Was a senior competition ahead of us so we were warned the pace of play might be slow, so we just took our time and finished the round in 4h15.

Was very enjoyable, course was in great nick and bunkers had lots of good quality sand (although there were a few cigarette buts in some of them).

Always very well looked after and considering the amount of rain we've had it was still more than playable. 👍

Course has suffered from recent wet and windy weather and as a consequence is extremely boggy and muddy on every fairway and throughout the course.Tee mats are in operation for every hole. . Greens were ok, although pace varied . It didn’t help that we played in intermittent showers and a stiff breeze.

Just thought that prices should have been reduced in recognition of the poor course conditions.

I’ve never played here before, staff member was friendly and pointed me in the right direction for the 1st tee, I was told I would like the greens and the gentleman was spot on! This is a beautiful course, some (if not all) excellent and long holes, and the greens have to be seen as they are wonderful to play. Really enjoyed playing here.

A decent course, but a frosty morning. Signage could be better, but otherwise a great course with decent greens (although solid at 7.30am on a frosty morning 🙃).

Will be back when the weather is less cold..
