New Mills Golf Club

Great course a bit off the beaten track but worth the trip. Weather was kind to us but can imagine in windy conditions the course is a different animal. Very well maintained, friendly staff and members nothing to fault!

First time playing New Mills GC. Friendly welcome in pro shop with some good golf course advice. Good practice/warm up area near 10th tee. Course in great condition, greens rolled well. Some tricky par 4s where position is the key for a good score. The par 3 16th is simply stunning from elevated tee. Certainly worth playing for sure.

Perfect from the state of the greens to the scenery. Really challenging and interesting course with some amazing holes like the 15th!

We loved it from start to finish.

It was a shame when we sat outside for a drink after that we had to listen to so much bad language and even when staff tried to stop it, it continued to no avail hence we left.

As a group of blokes sitting around children ladies etc its not hard to kerb the language!

The gold was amazing the 19th was less so!

Really nice course, not to difficult so ideal for the average golfer, but it also has some really quirky holes with great views of the surrounding areas from the higher holes

The staff were really helpful right from the pro through to the bar staff in general a really friendly course, we enjoyed it and will definitely be calling back.

We played a 4 ball on a super hot day and what a setting the most stunning views .the course was not over long just really nice walk and some of the holes are awesome .pro was really nice and very helpfull and a 4 ball in front of us let us play through which was a lovely gesture. After the round we sat outside with cool drink watch people teeing off at the par 3 next to the clubhouse so relaxing .wish i lived closer i would join no problem.big thanks to everyone who helped us hope to see you soon .

First time playing here and was fantastic great course lovely fairways and some great holes the 16th is a great hole with a great view . Really enjoyed it will be back soon. The course was in great condition

play new mills usually about four times a year, course in great condition& greens perfect , staff in shop &bar all very friendly, a good days golf.

Course in fantastic condition played it before well worth the money staff very helpful the only thing I have to say is because it’s high up it’s can be very windy

Only got back into golf last year, 2nd time playing here, been trying a few in the area and this is my favourite so far. It was fairly wet but course was still in good condition. A couple of possible scorecard killers but also I'm sure some decent players could shoot a low score here.

Some great views from high up without being knackeringly hilly.

First 9 was great but then got stuck behind an incredibly slow moving 4 ball with no intention of letting me through, so spent 9 holes waiting in the rain questioning my life choices.

Sam the pro and the lads there are really helpful.

The course is in really good condition considering the weather of late.

I seem to have escaped this course over many years of golf until yesterday. This is one of those courses you don't forget too easily, including the journey there. It has interesting holes, nothing very long but the weather can make it more of a challenge. A fair course, to all golfers with some risk reward element to it. The fairways were in good nick, the greens, although not fast (some recent rainfall) they were consistent. The back 9 provides some great views over Manchester if you have a little time to spare along the way.

Staff and members very friendly. Highly recommended.
