Normanby Hall Country Park

A challenging mature parkland course will provide a good test for your game. Fairways and bunkers a little patchy but represents very good value for money.

I played the course Several years ago. I think it is in better condition now than what it was back then. The greens were in good condition. Had to keep on the fairway or you'd be punished. Overall it was well worth the value.

To many bunkers and grounds are not the greatest cheap course and worth the money staff really friendly and can’t fault facilities with shower and changing room

But fairways are poor and just needs a general overhaul

Held up by seniors from the first tee who refused to let me through…. Why?

Superb experience playing here for the first time and will certainly return. Course was suitable for a range of handicaps. Greens outstanding condition. Shame the clubhouse wasn't open later but did manage a drink before playing. Highly recommend

I didn’t pick the best day to golf as it rained really bad after the 3rd hole. Greens held the water and was unplayable. Back 9 the weather was much better and course dried out quick. Enjoyed the course

Greens were freshly cut and in great condition and surprisingly quick. The 6th hole has suffered fairway damage from crows in which the greenskeepers are trying to get on top of. Some challenging holes and a lovely layout. Great value for money compared to other courses in the area. Pro shop staff were helpful and friendly on arrival. A real hidden gem 👍🏻

Don’t understand the previous reviewers comments....

Pro shop not open on arrival so no score card or advice on course. Pace of play was so slow walked off after 9 holes.

4 balls with 3 sets of clubs, 3 balls with 2 sets of clubs. Play in jeans or an old t shirt if you fancy.

It seems anybody can just walk on wearing anything and share clubs, I assume saving on tee fees. I am not a golf snob by any stretch of the imagination but seen better etiquette on a crazy golf course.

Course in very poor condition in places.

Normanby lots of work been done on the fairways and around the course great stuff👍. Greens are in great condition. Spring and summer the course will look and play brilliant. Looking forward to playing at Normanby. Good work . ⛳️

Never fails to impress. Always a warm friendly welcome from all the staff, in the bar, pro shop or just passing by the greenkeeper’s shed.

Course is in brilliant conditions and the greens sneakily fast and true. Aways recommend this course and proven its worth with exceptional conditions for February.

A pint on the balcony overlooking the 18th is always a must too!

First time I played Normanby Hall and what a beautiful course and setting. Lots of wild life, babbling brooks and little streams. Its matured lovely seen as though it was only built in 1973. My only build would be to pre-warn people about some of the fairways. Looks like you are mid-changes on some of the back 9 and TBH, after driving they are pretty unplayable. We saw a lot of others just skipping the hole and picking up their ball to move on.

The greens we're really saturated with water, even those on a higher level we're sodden which meant everything was really unpredictable.

But all in all we had a great time, even if we had to beg for a pint at 3:58pm lol. But great time all in all.
