Worth a visit

Course was in great condition, first cut was a little long but that may be due to the amount of rain recently that they hadn't cut it down fully yet. Greens were good and true again possibly just not quite fully cut yet but I imagine they will be fast when they do! Slow 3 ball in front for first couple of holes but they allowed us to play through. Pro shop very friendly and helpful. Great course with some good challenging holes and well worth £15, we've certainly paid more to play much worse! We will definitely be returning.

Excellent Condition

The course was in excellent condition. Fun, enjoyable course to play. The only thing lacking was the condition of some of the bunkers. New tee boxes on some holes were very nice.

Given the price I would definitely recommend.

Course in great condition

We booked (3 ball) and ended up right in the middle of a huge society but the pace of play was good and the course was in really good condition.

Only down side would be the large volume of people waiting on the 1st tee. Easily 20 people waiting but it was late morning on a Saturday so expected

Great course and value for money

Course was generally in good condition, greens on from 9 were not as good as the back 9 but they are being treated. Couple of fairways were a bit sparse. Great course with some challenging holes. Only disappointment was the pace of play. Once that group was cleared it was much improved.

For the money it cost for a round £13.50, I don’t think you can get any better in the around for the quality of the course.

Great course but pace of play is awful

Pro allowed me to head out early so I too the opportunity. Now I appreciate a single golfer has no standing on the course, but there were two groups ahead from a golf society who never got close to the group in front. Groups behind me abandoned their tree ounds or switched to other holes. I waited over a 1h15m on fee boxes!

Course is a lovely layout, greens were so-so, faorways average to slow, course generally in good condition.

Wouldn't book again if the society policy stands, but the course itself is one I could play regularly.

Great 1st time visit

Seems since Golf is back allowed I’m search near and far for course availability, really enjoyed today, wish the 19th was open for refreshments but the little shop had a nice collection of shoes clothing and clubs too. Definitely recommend

Demanding, nicely laid out course

Always in good condition and presents a good challenge to any golfer. Staff are always really welcoming and friendly here which makes it a pleasurable experience. Some challenging par 3’s and tricky long holes back into the wind on the back nine. Greens were really quick which made for some interesting scoring from our society lads and the 18th is a great hole to finish on with nearest in 2. We will always return here as it offers a great value package.
