Oakmere Park Golf Club - Admirals Course

Beautiful course top condition

Greens top class definitely play again .

We were told there would “be a few temporary greens” - it was all 18 rendering the round pointless. Even the members we spoke to were surprised about the work on every green.

Played the Admiral course at Oakmere, fantastic layout, bunkers left and right sides of many of the fairways, deep bunkers. Greens were fast.

I’m fortunate enough to play some fantastic golf courses and I’d honestly say this was my favourite even though we were off mats I still rank this course high than other prestigious courses such as lindrick and Torksey (Lincoln gc). I can’t wait to come back and play off the back tees. All the staff was so friendly the starter was the nicest chap and made us feel very welcome

The coarse was in great condition, staff was really friendly, both really enjoyed it

Always enjoy playing this course some really picturesque holes and it is in a great setting. Course condition is dry and firm but I can imagine most courses in the UK are at the moment with the lack of rain over the last few months but it still played well. Will be back to play here again soon hopefully.

I was totally surprised by the excellent layout of the course, how mature it was for a relatively new course, its condition and test it provided. Whilst the greens had been scarified and sanded it didn’t detract from the day.

Fantastic course and facilities. Was in excellent condition despite the recent terrible weather. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Managed the full 18 holes on the proper greens (some were quite wet). Some of the bunkers were out of action with water but apart from that the course was playable, the fairways were well drained.

Staff all very friendly, not too sure about the Christmas singing but the band was good.
