Bad greens

Great course and always enjoy playing it however the greens are suffering with blight which isn’t good. However for £25 you can’t complain.

Great price for winter golf but that’s about it

Was very pleased with the green fee price when booking. Unfortunately the course was not presented In the best way. The course is very wet. Understand this cannot be helped. The tee boxes and greens are among the worst I have ever played. Unable to cut fairways due to how wet it is. Greens have some sort of disease and are absolutely covered in sand. All bunkers GUR

Picturesque parkland course.

Reasonable playing conditions and not too busy. Course probably in need of a cutting as off fairways which could have been defined better, grass a little long. Greens were slow. Two holes out of play for groundstaff work and this was unknown to us? Probably better in summer.

Winter is definitely here already

Greens were terrible and fairways uncut, almost same length as the rough

Lovely little gem

First time playing here, will definitely be playing again. Green fees were very reasonable for the quality of facilities and course that you get. I was impressed at every turn for what was an enjoyable and well kept lovely course!

Greens In Superb Condition

The course was in superb condition, especially the greens, which were fast and true, amongst the best greens that I've played this year.

Value for money and great condition

Great course! Played a Thursday night twilight for £20! Course was in great condition and greens were quick and looked great! Finished 18 in just over 3 hours as a two ball and was hardly held up. Bargain for £20!

Great Course!

Really nice course - good layout and nice greens - Only thing is theres 2 holes that are blind shots which wasnt easy to know where to aim . Wasnt really an issue but would make it easier for first timers

Very good

Had a very nice round of golf , course conditions were excellent, really enjoyed it , bacon rolls and breakfasts were good, staff were very friendly , definitely go back .

Only downside was the 4 ball in front were useless , I think every tee shot they were in the trees , and so we were waiting a lot , but sun was shining , we weren’t at work so in all , enjoyed it .

Poor condition

Despite the terrible weather we’ve had over the winter this course was not in good condition no matter what excuse. The greens were slow with many pitch marks. The bunkers were unplayable but no GUR markers. We think every bunker had at least three sets of foot marks in them.

It should have been closed

The course was far too wet and should not have

been open . It certainly wasn’t worth the Green Fee

we paid
