Friendly staff .very helpfull. Course in great condition ,met the captain and he was a credit to the club.

Decided to play here on my way home having heard good things about it, and I wasn’t disappointed it’s a fantastic course with some tricky holes and the layout keeps it interesting, it was quite slow going but that doesn’t take anything away from it being a great course

Freind back from abroad and looking for quiet round of winter golf. I'm not member anywhere anymore so had quick look on golf now. Got tee for 14.99 each. And hoped for best.

Couldn't have turned about better. Cracking day. Couldn't have got better course at this time of year. Forward tees and couple of winter greens due to maintenance but the rest was brilliant.

All staff really helpful, although no bacon butties as kitchen was out of action for day due to fixing leccy. Scones and cup of tea nice though.

Visited on the way to Scotland, all golfers enjoyed the experience

Holes feel distinct from each other, some length, some dog legs and hills, great condition (greens quite slow when I got there) . Got a buggy. Pace of play good and bar menu excellent - a lovely day

Booked online, for a tee time the was never available. The club , to their credit, allowed us to play, Andy in the pro shop looked after us and gave us a tee time after he club comp.

Excellent course in great condition and a challenge, but a fair challenge. Greens in fantastic condition, as were the fairways.

No complaints and great value for money.

As for GolfNow? Poor service, no understanding of tee bookings and I won’t be using the system again.

Let down by GolfNow who booked a tee time that was not available, as it was a competition tee time Andy in the pro shop took great care in ensuring we could actually play a round, especially after a 60 mile journey. We can’t thank him enough as it would have been a wasted journey.

The course is challenging and is in very good condition. The greens are well maintained, difficult to read but fair. The bunkers are well filled and clearly very well looked after.

It was comp day so pace of play was slow but considering we didn’t actually buy a legitimate tee time, I’m not criticising that too much, I’ve experienced far worse.

Thanks to Andy and the club we had a great day’s golf and will go back but will ring the club direct rather than use GolfNow!!

The course is well kept with great views. Staff and other players were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely look to playing there again.

Had a great day with great weather.some of the greens are getting there but the course is still a good test staff and members very friendly views of the lake District fantastic well worth a visit.

Played here for the first time as a solo round. Decent practice facilities to warm up for the round which provided a fair test with a great mix of holes offering different challenges. 2-ball in front played at a good pace front 9 then left and a separate 2-ball let me play through at the first sign of me catching up which was a welcome change from other clubs I’ve played. Amazing views around the course and one that is definitely worth the trip to play. Didn’t stay to sample the pro shop or clubhouse but will hopefully be back!

Course great birdie on the 18th . Staff a credit to the club .dont know the guys name but was origionally from essex . Great service .and very friendly .
