Challenging and iconic course!

The views are breathtaking. But don’t be deceived by the beauty, this course is a wee beasty! Each hole has character, hazards, and challenging lies. Good luck on those two early par 3s.

Nice course

A nice course amid great scenery. It was very wet but the course played well despite this.

Keswick

Was so looking forward to playing this course as it is very scenic and located in stunning surroundings. However, very disappointed, course was in shocking condition, greens slowest played on this year, fairways not cut, very little run. For the middle of August, extremely disappointed, dread to think what it would be like in winter.

Would I visit again - no.

Lovely course and a great test of golf

Played Keswick twice in a week with my son whilst on holiday in the lakes. It’s a beautiful in a stunning situation. Despite there being no bunkers it’s quite a test. Some long par 3s and challenging par 4s. The course really makes you think. Whilst having some uphill holes you rarely have a shot above or below your feet.

Lovely welcome and an excellent club house. Highly recommended.

Course

I've played better for half the price.

No bunkers on the golf course so it takes away a lot of the look. Views are stunning in the valley but that's about all there is. Greens were OK, tees were bumpy fairways were to long, really spongy. Nothing really stood out to make you think that you would play it again.

Man v’s Mountain on a few holes but stunning course

Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Wish we had taken a buggy as a few of the holes really challenged my 64 year old (but fit) golfing partner. Course was in great condition, although greens slightly slower than I’m used to. Stunning scenery and some stunning, dramatic holes. Quite long, but worth a visit.

Great course, challenging and rewarding at same time.

Views from every hole. Just a fantastic location. Warm welcome from young man in the bar. Good value for money on the hot deal. Fairways and greens in good condition. Clearly a look after course. Challenging holes. Quite a few climbs and a long walk round. Well worth a game.

Great course, stunning views, great staff and lovely facilities

Great course, stunning views, great staff and lovely facilities.

The course is obviously very challenging to play due to it being half way up a fell which is to be expected. A lot of downhill, uphill, left to right and right to left lies. The staff and other golfers are fantastic to deal with.

The only this is that the fairways are a little rough but this is to be expected in Cumbria and its adverse weather conditions. Tricky to get a good score for the average golfer.

All in all a fantastic place to go. Especially for the money.

Beautiful Course

It was the first time my husband and i had played at Keswick Golf course. The lady in the office when we arrived was friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean. The views from this hilly course were absolutely stunning. The course was both challenging and rewarding. We played on a bank holiday Monday and the club house don't do food on a Monday. Had i done my research i would have known that before we played. That didn't take anything away from our experience there and we will definitely be back for another round.

A beautiful course and a round of golf that i didn't want to end!!

Fantastic course and great clubhouse

Course in fantastic condition, improved so much in last couple of years. Everywhere you look you are guided by fell tops for your next shot, spectacular!

Club house recently renovated and food is great, highly recommend the salt and pepper chicken burrito, very tasty!

Fantastic day out

Absolutely loved this round of golf. Fantastic course with amazing views and really friendly and helpful staff. Glorious weather - sun with very little wind - added to the enjoyment. Course in great condition, benefiting from the recent dry spell. Great variety in the holes - the 9th a particular gem. Really enjoyed playing at Keswick. Happily recommend and I will certainly be back.

Excellent course with magnificent views

Played twice in 3 days, course was a little soft in places but that’s to be expected for time of year in the lakes, some awesome holes scattered around your round.
