Richings Park

Once you get past the first two holes the course is really lovely and tree lined. The course was in great condition and a perfect mix of more challenging holes and those that hopefully you can take in your stride. It’s got a brilliant closing hole to finish a really worthwhile course to visit.

It does get used by golfers of all abilities and on our visit was a little slow due to a golf society, but it didn’t alter our opinion of the course. Still good value at £35 and would happily recommend it.

Hottest day of 2024 so far at Richings Park

Had a great time at Richings Park as a first-timer. I've only been playing golf 9-months as a high 5o-year-old, however, I thoroughly recommend doing 18 holes around Richings Park. It is very well landscaped and the grounds are well looked after. There were some challenging rounds to improve your course management and there were pretty wide fairways to keep you motivated. There were the occasional trees to hide in on the hottest day of the year so far, which was a good excuse to look for your ball! We tee'd off at 10;36 and the pace was really good and everyone friendly. I would certainly recommend the course I don't think you would be disappointed. There was a lovely clubhouse, and although I didn't try the food from what I could see it looked decent. There was a nice atmosphere at the club-house which made for a great day of golf.

Very good course

Very good course, nice round, amenities are great especially to practice before. The tee boxes were very dry so difficult to put in the tee with broken tees all over.

Other wise great.

What a find....

Had a cracking round of golf here, what an amazing space in which to play golf and see wildlife.....so much about, when you look.

Course was in great condition after a couple of days of rain, greens brilliant and would be superb if people had the decency to repair theirs and any other pitch marks that may have been missed!

Good clubhouse and pro shop, along with brilliant practice facilities at good prices.

We live over 1.5 hours away, but would happily play here most days, lots of challenges, trees, rough, water and more, so glad we found this course. Design and layout never seemed boring, it's wide enough and very forgiving on some holes, others are tighter and need more skill...makes for an interesting round!

Greenkeepers at Richings park ...we salute your skills....
