Excellent day spent at Richings park. First time I've played there , very impressed. Greens lush and hold your approach shot, even roll, medium fast. Bunkers large and in great condition. Course not long off the yellows but with strategic bunkers and water you have to position your tee shots.
Nice clubhouse, friendly staff. Good food reasonably priced.
Would definitely return, great value for money.
Nive course, great facilities. But greens terrible!
I do like playing richings.. some lovely holes on back 9..BUT.. wow the greens were bad.. i know srart of season.. but full of holes... and sand.!!.. need a watering too , bare in lots of places.
This is a top course
Had a great round here fast moving play. The fairways were in good condition and the greens were fast and well maintained. All in all a really good course great value for money.
Richings Park
Once you get past the first two holes the course is really lovely and tree lined. The course was in great condition and a perfect mix of more challenging holes and those that hopefully you can take in your stride. It’s got a brilliant closing hole to finish a really worthwhile course to visit.
It does get used by golfers of all abilities and on our visit was a little slow due to a golf society, but it didn’t alter our opinion of the course. Still good value at £35 and would happily recommend it.
Hottest day of 2024 so far at Richings Park
Had a great time at Richings Park as a first-timer. I've only been playing golf 9-months as a high 5o-year-old, however, I thoroughly recommend doing 18 holes around Richings Park. It is very well landscaped and the grounds are well looked after. There were some challenging rounds to improve your course management and there were pretty wide fairways to keep you motivated. There were the occasional trees to hide in on the hottest day of the year so far, which was a good excuse to look for your ball! We tee'd off at 10;36 and the pace was really good and everyone friendly. I would certainly recommend the course I don't think you would be disappointed. There was a lovely clubhouse, and although I didn't try the food from what I could see it looked decent. There was a nice atmosphere at the club-house which made for a great day of golf.
