Rookery Park Golf Club - Main Course

Such a nice course, in great condition which is some feat in a drought! super friendly staff. Will definitely play again.

I used to be a member here but the changes in terms of massive tree removable have really opened up the course for the better.

The green and fairways are in absolute perfect condition and I can not wait to get back ok there very very highly recommend playing the 18

brilliant course well maintained great greens great pratice area with driving range short par 3 course chipping greens and pratice putting green really enjoyed the course some great par 4s nice and long and couple big par5s over 500 yrds all in all fab course would rec to anyone in the area on holiday to go play hear you won't be dissapointed and the price is cheap for such a great course at £32 bargain

brilliant course loved it bonus shot under handicap aswell but great condition greens were very nice some tricky putts on few of them would defo go play there again if we ever come back down this way and defo worth the money at £32 on golf now cheers malc n lesley pateman

The course conditions were amazing for this time of year. Every single person was friendly. Lovely layout too. We will be back!

Very surprised that it was very green considering the extreme dry weather we have had in the last 4 weeks or so. The green were superb and the course was challenging but fair.

Had a fantastic round with the family. Great choice of tee box options. Superb course, lots of choice to practice too. Lovely clubhouse and very helpful staff throughout our visit especially in the pro shop.

Delighted to have reduced my handicap from this round. Will definitely be back when visiting parents.

There was a pleasant welcome on arrival at the pro shop, the staff were friendly and informative.

We were all impressed by the excellent practice greens and chipping area 👏

The course itself was very dry and brown, but so are most courses in the area due to the lack of rain. The course has an interesting layout with many good challenges throughout. The greens were good and well maintained, however, we didn’t enjoy the bunkers. Quite obviously, many lazy golfers who don’t know what the rakes were there for.

Unfortunately the one huge complaint is again about bunkers, two of our golfers damaged sand wedges due to striking huge foundation stones hidden slightly under the surface!! Irons are very expensive nowadays, we don’t expect to be damaging them in dreadful bunkers.

To summarise, a good course which is value for money. But our only recommendation would be to bring an old sand wedge with you, one which you don’t care about!

Course was great, wasn’t too busy so was able to get around. Staff were friendly in the pro shop and very helpful!
