A thinking course
The course was in great condition and not a straight putt in sight. The greens were a joy to play on but not that quick but that wasn’t an issue as it would have made some putts terrifying. You have to play yardage golf and pick your lay ups well. The big stick landing zones are tight and dangerous where as taking a little off it will leave a more sensible approach that is always still achievable to reach in two. Not many par threes but the ones that are there are very appealing to look at and play. Would highly recommend with price and super value for money and not a difficult walk at all although a couple of hills within the course but you don’t feel them.

Love this course, good challenge and plenty to do for all the fa mily at the adjacent lakes.

Overall coarse was in good condition bunkers not well kept grass and not raked so sand very hard
Pace of play very slow to start with but not bad for a Saturday
Excellent course
First time I’ve played here for a few years and was really impressed. Great greens and course overall in good condition. Some challenging holes. Very reasonably priced, especially for a Sunday. Will definitely play again soon
Top local course, great condition
we play here a lot as its dead easy to book online, never any hassle when we get there, just get on and play. The course condition is superb at the moment, one of the best and its only £13.50 ! Challenging holes which you try and play properly every time and mess up. Hardest holes for me are 3, 7, 8, 16 and 17 .. I am sure there are others for each golfer. What a bargain for the money, definitely worth playing, you shouldnt be disappointed.
5 long hours!!
Booked an 8.30 tee time as I’d played the previous week after 9 and it was painfully slow but unfortunately nothing changed, 2 fourballs in front of us meant we were waiting on every tee box for over 5 minutes!! It’s such a shame as the course is in brilliant condition but this is the 3-4 time it’s taken over 5 hours for a two ball to get round, would I play here again, not sure...maybe but I think I’d look elsewhere first.

Enjoyed my first round of golf here and recommend it.
Good testing course
Rother Valley has matured so much recently, it’s a good hidden gem.
