Love this course great weather had a great round with my sons

Always liked Rufford and I was a member here a few years ago, played yesterday for first time in about a year and realised I’d missed the place. Like every hole and always have a good round here, course in good condition for time of year, off winter tees but all greens were on! Pace of play was good. Finally made a birdie on the 17th their signature hole! Would recommend to anyone, nice club house with shop and driving range too.

It’s a great course but we were on mainly temp greens and temp tees, it to be expected at this time of year. Still a great course and the view from the club house is fantastic. I’m sure we will play here again.

I would just like to say that The course is fantastic in the summer, However, we played on Saturday 18th Jan and there were 9 temp greens out of 18 and this was not stated prior to booking. The temp greens are unplayable and unemployable so if I was a member here I’d cancel my membership as it is not enjoyable. The normal greens were good and I don’t know why they play temp greens when the greens look fine and if groundsman looked after them like at other courses then I see no reason for the temp greens other than it creates less work for the green staff. Also, the four in front of us were so slow and talked too much at the tees making them holding up about 4 groups behind them and they didn’t seem to care. We actually heard a group behind us talk to the starter telling him to tell us that they were due to tee off before us so they can tee off ahead of us which is terrible! I will not be rushing back here in a hurry!

I play this course all the time , fantastic golf course

Great course for a winter day out. Small breakfast on arrival that was decent enough. Course in great condition with superb greens and still playing off proper tees, fairways still in really good nick. At £25 it is a great price.

Arrived at the course in good time staff at reception were very friendly and explained what we needed to know and headed out to the course unfortunately we were behind 2 members who were extremely slow they couldn’t keep up with the 3 ball in-front who got 2 holes clear really nice course in great condition but spoiled by extremely slow play almost 5 hour round

Once again Rufford was fantastic course was in great condition, grounds staff were hard at work on general grass conditioning, course was dry for the time of the year, tees were in good condition, green were in fantastic condition. Weather was again fine. There was a lot of players on the course but we made reasonable time.

We played at Rufford on 28th October, the course was in great condition, there was no rain and mainly cloudy fairways were in great condition, green were in great condition, there were some leaf dropped but most had been blown away the the course staff. Meaning you were able to find your ball easily. Bar area inside and out are great. It would be better if some food was advertised and available. We loved our day at Rufford. Ps the driving range is Also in good condition, The ball machine appears to only dispense ball at £4. It was not an issue for us but might be for others. Great condition course, no rain, no wind, range was great, putting green is in great condition. Would have liked some snacks but things were closed by 5:00 when we were completed. Maybe some could snack could be sold in a glass case type display, not just crisps or nuts.

Played Rufford on Monday, the sun was out, no wind, course was in great condition, no mud, grass tees, every green was in great condition. Great day could not have had had a better day. Well done Rufford keep up the work on the course. Driving range was in good condition and the practice tees were. Thank you for a good afternoon.
