Fantastic course and ideal for a mid handicapper to enjoy.

The only annoyance is the road approach to the course, whilst the Ford is closed. But not the course’s issue

Turned up golf pro/ reception very friendly explained where to go. Although the weather could have been better really interesting and challenging course will definitely be back again in the near future

Pace of play slow every time ive played here. No course marshals managing the pace

Great course and conditions were very good, however, pace of play was very slow. Waiting 5+ mins on most tee boxes and groups in front could barely hit a golf ball. The man in the proshop/reception was missable and had very little time for us a bit more of a welcome and smile wouldn’t go a miss.

Great day. Great breakfast was a good start and it just got better. Course was dry but staff were sluicing some of the greens. We loved it. Everyone was so friendly. Try it you won’t regret it.

I love this course,needed a bit of water in places and on some greens but got 18 holes for £20 on a beautiful course.If you haven't played it yet do so.This could be a dp tour venue.

This is a great course has a few challenging holes but fairly open fairways, this course is in perfect condition and I was really impressed with it,

Enjoyable round at Rufford in the sunshine. Pace of play was ok and course was in good condition. The greens were average compared to other local courses. We would have eaten in the clubhouse, but the kitchen closed at 3pm.

First time playing here and didn’t come with much expectation but was very impressed. It has a really nice a varied layout and in great condition. Not overly long but long enough and the greens were fantastic

If this course was closer to Nottingham I'd be a member. Lot's of variety, greens always good and seriously good value.

Always liked Rufford and I was a member here a few years ago, played yesterday for first time in about a year and realised I’d missed the place. Like every hole and always have a good round here, course in good condition for time of year, off winter tees but all greens were on! Pace of play was good. Finally made a birdie on the 17th their signature hole! Would recommend to anyone, nice club house with shop and driving range too.

Some players should understand 'ready ' golf when playing later in winter to help pace of play

Four ball in front of us had a 2 hole gap to next

It’s a great course but we were on mainly temp greens and temp tees, it to be expected at this time of year. Still a great course and the view from the club house is fantastic. I’m sure we will play here again.

I would just like to say that The course is fantastic in the summer, However, we played on Saturday 18th Jan and there were 9 temp greens out of 18 and this was not stated prior to booking. The temp greens are unplayable and unemployable so if I was a member here I’d cancel my membership as it is not enjoyable. The normal greens were good and I don’t know why they play temp greens when the greens look fine and if groundsman looked after them like at other courses then I see no reason for the temp greens other than it creates less work for the green staff. Also, the four in front of us were so slow and talked too much at the tees making them holding up about 4 groups behind them and they didn’t seem to care. We actually heard a group behind us talk to the starter telling him to tell us that they were due to tee off before us so they can tee off ahead of us which is terrible! I will not be rushing back here in a hurry!
