Sandhill Golf Club

The greens were being spiked and sand dressed some before we played on them others as we were playing on them. Having said this we enjoyed the course and had a great 4 ball on the day. I would recommend this course.

Played it a few times and enjoy it everytime it's a nice walk with some good holes and kept in very good condition

Bunkers very wet sand with puddles in but considering the amount of rain on day before very good

Really enjoyed the round course will soon be back to its best after a punishing winter greens were difficult but a great place to play highly recommend

Golf now let us book a tee time the night before for 7am the website of this course had nothing on it to say it was closed neither did golf now was never notified, showed up at 6:45am to be told the course was closed 🤷‍♂️

Having received a receipt from golf now saying thr course was open for 18 holes, we were disappointed that only 11 were available to play. Fully understand why from a course point of view, but golf now just didn’t flag this up. Also 5 of the greens were winter greens. Not the best day out, more maddening that it was a nice day in January 😕

First time playing here and I really enjoyed it, the course is incredibly well maintained and considering the weather we had for the two weeks prior, the course was in a very nice playable condition, Greens again were in good condition and the staff were very helpful, even walking me out to the first tee because I wasn’t sure where to go due to the order of the holes having to change because of weather conditions.

I look forward to returning as soon as I can, keep up the good work Sandhill, I might just become a member.

With big regrets i have played this course for a second time today. It was in terrible condition. The course was saturated and muddy. I have vowed to never return

Staff in the shop accused me of being dishonest when I arrived 50 minutes early for my tee time and asked as the course looked empty if i could play early. Staff accused me of cheating the system as i paid £1 less to play. I offered the £1 but they refused to take it

Sadly it rained non stop but I cannot wait to return in clear weather, the course is really great, it’s challenging but also enjoyable, for a 20 hdcp I enjoyed every hole, wide fairways and beautiful tree walls it’s a great course, lovely walk and it all plays well, a few up hills and great mix of par 3/4/5 on a clear day quite a few birdie opportunities. After 1pm price is just unbeatable!

Played Sandhill, after a rest of three weeks, it was a great game we all enjoyed after the holiday break. Course was in good condition, weather was warm and sunny just had a slight drizzle for a few minutes. I’m sure we’ll play here again. Pity there isn’t food on all the time. We wanted lunch before but all that was on offer were sausage rolls, crisps and cakes, you have to go on a day when comps are on the get food as far as we know.
