Sandhill Golf Club

First time playing here and I really enjoyed it, the course is incredibly well maintained and considering the weather we had for the two weeks prior, the course was in a very nice playable condition, Greens again were in good condition and the staff were very helpful, even walking me out to the first tee because I wasn’t sure where to go due to the order of the holes having to change because of weather conditions.

I look forward to returning as soon as I can, keep up the good work Sandhill, I might just become a member.

With big regrets i have played this course for a second time today. It was in terrible condition. The course was saturated and muddy. I have vowed to never return

Staff in the shop accused me of being dishonest when I arrived 50 minutes early for my tee time and asked as the course looked empty if i could play early. Staff accused me of cheating the system as i paid £1 less to play. I offered the £1 but they refused to take it

Sadly it rained non stop but I cannot wait to return in clear weather, the course is really great, it’s challenging but also enjoyable, for a 20 hdcp I enjoyed every hole, wide fairways and beautiful tree walls it’s a great course, lovely walk and it all plays well, a few up hills and great mix of par 3/4/5 on a clear day quite a few birdie opportunities. After 1pm price is just unbeatable!

Fantastic greens and plenty of sand in the bunkers very good condition

Played Sandhill, after a rest of three weeks, it was a great game we all enjoyed after the holiday break. Course was in good condition, weather was warm and sunny just had a slight drizzle for a few minutes. I’m sure we’ll play here again. Pity there isn’t food on all the time. We wanted lunch before but all that was on offer were sausage rolls, crisps and cakes, you have to go on a day when comps are on the get food as far as we know.

Course has help up surprisingly well compared to others, and is the cheapest 18 hole course in the area. But sadly this also means it's packed with weekend warriors, and pace of play was a real issue... But other than that, a very enjoyable day.

Greens 10, bunkers 10 , tee box , 10 , fairways 9.5 was in superb condition greens a fast and running great no excuses fr bad putting in them

The course is in great condition and is an easy walk

had a great day at this course which is in very good condition to say no rain for a while greens are in exellent condition

sand in bunkers very hard. staff in shop polite and friendly as were other golfers on the course .

my only gripe is cost of buggy £27:50 which I thought was steep which put the price higher than I would normally pay for a round of golf .unfortunatly I need a buggy to help me around .that said I would definitely recomend you visit this course wether you are a seasoned golfer or just starting out its a great place to test your golfing skills .

Very busy with clueless 4balls with no concept of etiquette on a lovely sunny afternoon. Quite spoiled the round.

Less litter than normal. Greens OK although quite sandy as had been tined and topdressed in the week.

Lovely course. Some challenging holes and greens.

Course generally in good condition. There has been some recent maintenance on the greens but they still ran well. Sure they will be perfect in a few days.

Could do with a bit more sand in the bunkers.

I’ve only been playing 6/7 weeks and it’s great for me as it’s on the door step. Nice open course so allows for my bad swing. Greens are very fast from what I’ve played on so far. Good value for money when paying £22

Played this course at 4:24 on a Monday afternoon, no one in front and walked off the 18th green in just under 3 hours.

Lovely layout course, greens were in great nick, with challenging borrows and shapes that definitely challenged.

Great layout, quite compact, but all holes were different, lovely layout, and would definitely recommend. Didn't get chance to go in the bar but that looked very nice as well.

Would definitely play again.
