Sapey Golf Club - Rowan Course

Another great day at Sapey golf club. The course is in excellent condition and a fair test for all levels.

Great day out. Beautiful day, nice staff and course in great condition. Greens a little springy but overall a good variety of holes with some stunners mixed in. Just wished I lived closer.

Play Sapey on a fairly regular basis and never fails to disappoint. The whole experience is fully enjoyable and always receive a friendly welcome.

Greens and tees good. A little wet in one or two patches on the fairway but nothing to worry about. Overall a very good course - not too long but still testing. Mainly flat terrain.

Overall this course is fairly nice, the layout is decent with plenty of challenging holes with tricky pins , fairways and greens are kept well with some areas like a mud bath due to the recent rain, only issue is trying to find your next hole! Signposting for next hole is poor and found myself looking round for a good 5mins on multiple holes trying to find the next tee box. I would suggest downloading a yardage meter on your phone or watch as there is non visual yardages on the scorecard itself which is no bother for the price! Overall I would recommend a full 18 followed by a drink on the balcony overlooking the 18th! Good value for money!

Visited Sapey golf club on many occasions and always really enjoy the course.

The clubhouse and outside balcony are always a relaxing place after your round.

Cannot recommend Sapey golf club enough.

The course was great. Me & my mate enjoyed the layout. The course could do with some money / tidying up in places to make it top class but the potential is there.

The greens were a little bumpy but I don’t think we’d had the normal growth for the time of year

All in all a great day out & would definitely play again

Just out touring and found this course. Good course in good condition, Friendly and efficient reception. Didn’t experience the bar but others were. I was at the really nice Baiting House pub next door.

We had a 2 ball yesterday and had a great time. The only issue was the play was held up and on the first few holes this was held up by the green keeper, who was cutting the greens. We teed off at 12.28 and to see the greens getting so much attention at that time of day seemed strange. Will definatley play again in the future.

Although it rained for most of the round we had an enjoyable time. The course was very wet but that is understandable given the time of year. Some holes were closed but we were given the option of playing additional holes to make it 18.

Very good course with great staff, even gave trolley hire for free to a friend. Course in good condition but 6 holes closed due to being waterlogged. Wasn't an issue and we were able to get back on and play the front 6 holes twice. Would highly recommend and will be returning in better weather
