Doncaster Town Moor Golf Club

Was in the area for a business trip so thought why not try it. Never played golf in the middle of a horseracing track before. It was a lovely course in great condition and will definitely play again if I'm in the area again

Excellent condition course given the extremely dry weather we have had. Tee boxes and greens near perfect condition, greens fast but true. Fairways very dry but this in my opinion is unavoidable at this stage of the year due to extreme drought conditions.

Considering the dry weather the course was in goood condition, easy walking and reasonable greens. Perhaps not a lot of variation but generous fairways and pleasant views in middle of racecourse. Long walk to first tee across dual carriageway might not suit everyone and some distance between tees could do with better signage.

Helpful friendly staff and booked again next week

A relatively quiet Monday played in glorious sunshine.. Friendly welcome in the Pro shop , if it's your first time playing here, don't be put off by quirky way you have to go to get to the first tee..

The course is actually located inside the perimeter of Doncaster racecourse.

After leaving the first tee, you are surrounded by many mature oak trees which leaves no hint of being surrounded by a racecourse fence!

As stated the tees and greens were very good. The fairways were what I would describe as typical Town Moor terrain with uneven tufts in parts and furrows

.However my overall experience of the course was very positive.

First time playing here. Course was in very good condition. Greens were excellent.

Some challenging holes. Course layout was a bit confusing, more signs needed to get to the next tee's.

Playing in a fourball, we were informed by one of the members that we had to pick up the pace which was a little annoying, as we were following a two ball and had to wait on many holes for them. This was the only downside of the day.

Overall a nice course and would play again... maybe not on a weekend morning being followed by the members comps.

What a great course, super greens well kept fast and true. Looking forward to playing it again as no hold ups, steady play and peaceful given the location of this course. Cracking little course with some great holes.

Played here a few times and recently with my wife who’s not been playing too long but who really enjoyed it. Not overly long or challenging but in good condition with great tee boxes and greens, pace of play was good tho it was quiet and the members were met were a friendly bunch

First time playing here and I wasn't disappointed it's a fabulous golf course the greens and tee areas are very well kept the course is set right in the middle of Doncaster races it's a good challenge I can't recommend it highly enough, everyone must give it a go

First golf course iv been on where you have to cross a very busy dual carriage way to get to the course..But worth it,beautiful greens and fluffy fairways and lots of trees.My only negative was the course needs more signage,bit confusing as it was our first time and score cards need layout of course on them telling you hole layout as there not on tees.

Enjoyed our day but there are a lot of bare and bobbly patches on the fairways and greens. Still it is only April. The staff and members were incredibly friendly.

Great course enjoyed my visit. Will be back quite soon.
