Thoroughly enjoyed this round. The course is challenging and needs to be respected. The greens were in good condition

Great course and kept in great condition

Fun course to play, lots of unique features and challenges, get offline and there's always a tree in the way to navigate round.

Aside from the lack of rain when I played recently causing some (but not much) dry grass it really was in amazing condition from tee to green.

Great value for what you get, but be prepared for a workout if walking.

Too short

The course is too short which means it’s a lot of driver and then chip from a bunker. Rinse and repeat.

Also means it gets quite congested so we had quite a bit of time waiting on tee boxes, although it was a bank holiday.

Would only go back if I was playing irons only to make it more interesting.

Greens were interesting and a good challenge though. Perhaps ok for shorter hitters.

Good condition

For the time of year, course was in very good nick. 8/9 ground staff working around the 18 which is always good to see as a golfer. Greens rolling nicely. Fairways good too.

Played before, will return

Great course packed full of features on each hole (minus any water which isn't a bad thing).

A good workout navigating the back 9 and you double back a couple of times but we'll worth it.

A great course for transitioning players…

With several short par 4s and par 3s, this is the perfect place for those getting used to playing full size courses. Of course there are plenty of longer holes too but it balances out.

There were only a couple of issues on the day. The first was the condition of some of the greens. In particular, I felt like I was sinking into the 8th green as I walked across it. The other issue was I was stuck behind a 4 ball who wouldn’t let me through. They let the guy behind me through who I played 3 holes alongside in the hope that the delay wouldn’t be as bad together. He decided to split on the 6th where they happily let him play through. I had to wait until they mysteriously disappeared on the 9th/10th holes. I swear 2 or 3 of them lost balls on every hole.

Other than that though, a great course with friendly staff and great facilities. There is a putting green to warm up the flat stick but only nets to warm up the swing as there’s no room for a driving range.

Course gone down hill

Played early morning so no trouble with slow play but they were ramming groups on behind. The greens were shocking borderline unplayable, easily the worst greens I've seen in years! The tee boxes were not much better either. At £30+ we felt like we had been robbed, far better courses to play for that money. A real shame to see how poor this course has become in the space of a year or so.....won't be returning anytime soon.
