Course was in good order due to the amount of rain, staff working on the course to improve drainage. Well done !!

Needs more netting up as road directly alongside of fairways. Not an issue if you drive straight

quite impressive to have long courses and good field conditions. really money worth to play here. I’m coming again for sure.

Very, very slow pace of play. Some older members quite rude.

Greenstaff wonderful and made me feel very welcome.

Course in general is in good condition. Fairways nicer than my own course. Good greens but let down by bad bunkers. Lots of stones and grass growing through sand all round edges.

Layout is tricky with big trees lining most fairways leaving a wayward shot with a low punch under them to get back on fairway. Little confusing on some holes as you either need to wait till other greens or tees near you finish as so close together and a couple of holes cross each other so giving way is needed.

Short holes on most of them but well protected greens.

Would play again in late afternoon when cheaper.

Not long or particularly challenging unless the wind is blowing but it is well maintained and offers a bit of fun with some very nice holes.

Good for high to low handicappers and spacious enough to not feel rushed or have the feeling of being watched. Well kept and maintained, staff were all very good and helpful and made an effort to engage with you. The weather made it even better!

A very busy morning on the course with a number of members out in 3/4 balls. They were all friendly and let me play through wherever possible - you don’t often see so many members genuinely welcoming of visitors to their course and it’s something which made the experience all the better. Course was in excellent condition, particularly the greens.

A decent layout with some tricky par 4s. Not a long course but it requires accuracy to score well. On the whole the par 3s and 5s are fairly straightforward. Well worth a visit at was is a very fair price.

played here before, course struggles in the winter but was in good shape. greens very good, fairways a bit rough due to machinery problem.

Found this golf course 5 years ago played it many of times was always in fantastic condition. Played today 01-4-24 for 1st time after a disappointing last visit last April. The course is unplayable and needs to shut down until condition's have improved. Nearly everyone on the course said the same. In 8 years of playing I have never played 16 holes hole 12& 13 were totally shut off and was told by staff members to just play the 1st & 2nd hole again to amend the 2 holes lost. The fairways were awful we had to look for our balls and clean each time the rough was knee hight and the tee boxes were uncut and were badly damaged to pay full price for this was a complete shambles. Plenty more to say but hope iv said enough to warn players KEEP WELL AWAY

I wish GolfNow would have let me know before paying that it was temporary greens, wasn’t worth the money lovely course to play in summer when all the greens are up and running, but very disappointed I didn’t know before hand.

I like this course in the summer but unfortunately walked off after 9 holes as almost greens weren’t in play.

We might aswell just stay at the driving range.

Shame as I like this course in the summer.

GolfNow should highlight upon paying £64.

The course is very straight and great for intermediate golfers.

The course was very busy and pace of play was slow. Where holes cross you have to wait to tee off.

I was very surprised how good this course was. I have lived in the area for a long time and never really thought about playing St Augustins. I am glad I did and would definately play here again.

Great local course plays well in the summer. It gets boggy in the winter. Good to see the rough has been cut back to a fair height.
