No restrictions

Great value through Golf Now but would've still been happy if I'd paid full price. No restrictions despite awful weather. A bit boggy on some fairways but greens and tee boxes in great condition. Friendly, welcoming staff - no airs and graces. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to review our course it’s very much appreciated. We are continuously working towards improving our drainage out on the course although this can sometime prove challenging as we are a clay based course.

Cheap & nasty

Lost my shoe on the fairway. Sunk under ground. Did 3 holes & walked off, didn’t even get a refund. Just not very nice people that run it.

Bog

A farmers field, & don’t even think about getting clubs fitted there. Cheap & nasty. Unpleasant atmosphere & ambiance. Rude bullies.

Rude & clicky. Like a bunch of old women.

Rude & not worth the money. You get 4 months of golf a year here if you’re lucky.

Mud bath. RIP off. Unfriendly, bullies.

All I have to say is if you join as a member you’ll be bullied by the clique. I observed the hcp staff throwing a scorecard in the face of another member because he forgot to sign his card. Plus the course is an absolute bog. A shambles. You’ll lose balls in the fairway & you’ll need your wellies. The tees are embarrassing. Dog poo everywhere. The course rating is wrong as well. Too easy. No fairway bunkers or water hazards. My biggest gripe is the way they speak to people. Disgusting. Do not join or play.

The worst golf course in Staffordshire.

Shouldn’t be open between September & May. It’s absolutely shocking. Sinking in the fairway, losing balls buried plugged. Not enjoyable. Greens are ok however the rest of it is garbage. Bit clicky as well. Was going to join but it’s one of those clubs that has their own little clique I was told. Stone is far better and it’s not in the same league as other local courses. Don’t pay £20 to play here it’s a joke. Rude people as well.

Don’t let the car park and buildings fool you

When I first arrived in the car park I was wondering what I let myself in for.

I couldn’t of been more wrong the course was excellent, the fairways and greens were top notch, some of the tee boxes were a little ropey but didn’t detract from a very enjoyable round of golf on a course I would definitely visit again.

Unpleasant

RIP off, rude, course conditions very poor. Mowers on the go following you around as you’re teeing off in the middle of the day. People shouting playing football on the 3rd. People walking their dogs. Kids on motorcycles giving you grief. £25 to play that dump absolute disgrace. It’s not a golf club, more a working man’s club for drunken hackers and talk about congestion. I walked off. Didn’t even bother asking for a refund as the pro shop was shut. That’s garbage as well. RIP off. Bought some tees, every one snapped. Made out of card board I ghink. Everything about the place is cheap.

A youth club football community centre not a golf club.

Wearing Football shirts, rude staff, Conditions poor. Always waiting being held up. Only 8 mins between tee times spending £20 for that garbage. Noises, greens damaged, chunks missing. Food is disgusting & extortionate. Generally unfriendly.

Nice course

We played 9 holes off blue tee which were a good open course all around. I think playing the 18 hole would be laborious, as it is the same holes but with different tee off positions

Course was surprisingly fun

The course was surprisingly good , have always stayed away from 9 hole courses with multiple tees, the green were amongst the best I’ve seen anywhere., The course was quite so no hold ups ,

The only bad points was the pro shop had no scorecards and the bar was closed when finishing bit of a surprise as it was on 3.30, but will definitely play again , great value for money

Friendly and welcoming

Staff and members seem very friendly. Course in great condition. Interesting layout with a few doglegs and hills. But, generally, quite an easy course with wide open fairways. Little gem - very close to Stafford town centre. Looking forward to playing there again.
