Golfer Reviews
Nice course
We played 9 holes off blue tee which were a good open course all around. I think playing the 18 hole would be laborious, as it is the same holes but with different tee off positions
Course was surprisingly fun
The course was surprisingly good , have always stayed away from 9 hole courses with multiple tees, the green were amongst the best I’ve seen anywhere., The course was quite so no hold ups ,
The only bad points was the pro shop had no scorecards and the bar was closed when finishing bit of a surprise as it was on 3.30, but will definitely play again , great value for money
Friendly and welcoming
Staff and members seem very friendly. Course in great condition. Interesting layout with a few doglegs and hills. But, generally, quite an easy course with wide open fairways. Little gem - very close to Stafford town centre. Looking forward to playing there again.
Very poor

Ticks allot of boxes
Accessible location, good facilities a forgiving course, layout isn’t intuitive but shouldn’t put you off. Very open fairways, nicely kept greens and obstacles that make for a challenge without being demanding. As someone who hadn’t played regularly for some time this was an ideal course to return to the game. It’s not flat so be prepared to do some hard yards walking, some of the ground is also quite undulating so don’t expect straight forward shots even from the fairways.
Good course, greens are great but difficult if you leave a downhill putt..only problem is being a 9 hole course I came round to play hole 10 to be behind 4 4balls who wouldn't let me through, pathetic really but happens most places lately
Nine Hole Fun
The varying tees really do create an 18 hole feel, greens in great condition but the people working there were excellent. Friendly, great food and service.
Good for novices
Enjoyed this course even though I played terribly
Local course
This course is very local to us. We really should play it more. Had a good morning with friends.
great course
great condition with fast greens snd fairly challenging
Complete bog drainage doesn’t exist at this course
Complete Bog. Drainage doesnt exist at this course. Personally the Course shouldnt of been played on today. Completely waterlogged with no rain for days. Lost maybe 10 balls from shots finding fairway has ground that poor sink 3 inches into ground. Fairways way too long and boggy. Only plus side was i found so many of other peoples that where buried too so i know wasnt just us today suffering with the atrocities playing on the course today. Shame has great location but would of prefered to have been pulled off We walked around with stand bag. There was people with trollies that shouldnt of been on there. Honestly you didnt need golf shoes today wellies would of been a better choice. God help that course when drys up be a right state
