Very good par 3 training course
Brilliant course to practice the sort game and putting.
Great for your short game
Lovely little course which is superb for your short game, greens in great condition, will definately play again
Good fun all-around
First time here, fairways in good condition. Some greens a bit patchy but good fun anyway.
Great Value
Lovely little par 3 course. The tee boxes are a little gripe for me as i hate the artificial stuff that messes with your club face, other than that no issues.
I would have liked slightly more variation in the length of holes and maybe some more challenging greens but minor things really.
Rude staff
I have played on this par 3 academy course on a number of occasions as I felt it was a good place to build my confidence and work on my short game. On the 3rd hole the players in front were finishing up on the green when I teed off. I have never reached the green before so I thought it was safe to do so but admittedly the ball raced onto the green before the people had moved off. My partner who was helping me and not playing shouted fore. We walked up to the green and my partner apologised to the coach who was conducting a lesson with some young players. My partner explained we were sorry and that I had never reached a green before, let alone the longest one on the course. The coach didn’t accept our numerous apologies. My partner then turned away and said he didn’t want to argue about it. The coach then swore at him. The situation escalated with the coach then threatening us with that he’ll make sure we never play the course again and do we know who he is? I then carried on with finishing the 3rd hole and then skipping the fourth to go the fifth to create distance between us and the coach and also because he would let us play through. Once setting up at the fifth tee he then stormed over asking do I expect him to wait behind me (he had two beginners with him so I definitely wasn’t going to hold him or his students up). I told him to go away then he told me to shut up. I told my partner the round was ruined and i just didn’t want to continue with him around. I went to the club to inform the manager that I had walked off after 3 holes after being abused by his staff member. He couldn’t of looked less interested and said he wasn’t going to take sides. No apology for the abuse or that I had to cut my round early. The hour round trip definitely wasn’t worth it. A massive lack of customer service and basic human empathy. I was visibly upset and he couldn’t of cared less. I’m hoping I never have an experience like this again at a golf course.
Good day out.
Great day out, nice little par 3 parkland course. Fast greens and well thought out holes. Would like to see proper T boxes for warm weather use instead of the mats. Fairways need a little better looking after and they would be perfect.
Food and drink in the " Clubhaus " were competitively priced and the food was enjoyable.
All in all a great Easter Sunday knock.
Great 9 hole course
Great course, challenging, enough bunkers and interesting holes. Course is in good condition I’ll play there re again soon.
9 Hole Academy Course
Fantastic Par 3 course of 9 holes, just perfect for honing in on your mid irons and wedge play. Greens in great condition. Throughly enjoyed it. Will definitely play the course again, maybe before a full round
