Sutton Green Golf Club

We played on Aug BH Monday. Very warm welcome in the pro shop (and everywhere else). Offered to go off earlier which suited us. Course was in very good condition. The greens appeared to have recovered well from the maintenance work. A few 'quirky' holes but overall the design is great. We'll play some of them slightly differently next time. Both my playing partner and I felt it was great value for money. The staff made it feel like nothing was too much trouble.

Played on a Friday afternoon - course was quiet and pace of play was great as a result. Course in top condition, lush fairways and greens were rolling true and well paced throughout. It’s a parkland course so fairly flat but with some interesting holes and good use of water and natural undulations. Pro shop friendly, overall value almost unmatched in this area in my opinion. Clubhouse nice, food good and great value.

Will certainly be returning!

Played here a bunch of times and love the course. It is usually great value for money and consistently kept in great condition all year round. Staff are very friendly and helpful too

This is a lovely course in Surrey. Looking particularly green and lush thanks to the terrible English weather.

The greens in particular are in excellent condition.

It's not an easy course, but what you would expect from a high calibre course.

Tends to be pretty quiet in the afternoon.

Played a match here. Course was in great condition apart from the bunkers (fairways) which were very 'stony'. Very quiet on a Thursday afternoon so pace of play was great. Challenging greens and would play again.

Great course - flat but challenging , need to play straight as rough is rough !

Only issue - BUNKERS FULL OF STONES !!

Good flat layout, well maintained fairways and greens. Nice halfway house.

I used to be a member year ago but moved further away. Wasn’t sure what condition the course would be in but it was great. Tee boxes were well kept, greens were great and rough was longish but just about right to be honest.

Great course, speed of play was great too. Shame I can’t be a member as would join straight away.

The course survived the winter and rain well. The wind made it tough. The greens were great

The pro was very friendly and welcoming and gave me free hire of a trolley which was nice. The faiways were sodden and very muddy verging on unplayable at times. However the greens were excellent. Looked like there was a club comp on as play was quite slow. Nice clubhouse with friendly bar staff and members. Overall not a Winter course but we will return in the Spring/Summer.

Played on a sunny Saturday after a week of rain and the course was in remarkably good shape. Greens and course in general was well kept. A fun course that was challenging but not overly so. Good range of features and mix of par 3's, 4's and 5's. Had people ahead and behind but never an issue. Lovely clubhouse with bar and small pro shop with friendly staff. All round a really good experience.

Greens were slow and VERY bobbly.

Greens were covered in goose droppings, the 18th, right outside the clubhouse, was covered! Surely this could have been cleared by the green keepers?

Food, waited over an hour for 6 breakfasts, we arrived with over 1.5hrs to tee time and ended up eating and rushing to get to the tee box in time to make our tee time.

Overall very disappointed.

We've played this course a few times, last time was in May and it was in great condition. Unfortunately this time it was very poor by comparison, greens were slow and covered in goose droppings, the 18th, right outside the club house, was covered. (Surely that one at least could be cleared by the green keepers?)

Very disappointed with the course, and we waited for an hour for 7 breakfasts, and the club house had 2 other people in there, we arrived with plenty of time to get food and get ready and ended up having to rush our food to make the tee time.
