Sutton Green Golf Club

Nice course layout with lovely greens but would benefit from bigger budget for course maintenance and presentation. Food was expensive and unimpressive.

My playing partner and I found this to be a forgiving course for high handicappers whilst still providing a great challenge. The course was in good condition, greens were great and the water wet!! Very friendly staff and only surprised that there were not many more players out on a Friday afternoon in the sun?

We had played Sutton Green 5-6 times before yesterday, over the last 4 years or so. We play different clubs every month The greens yesterday were fantastic, every green had the same pace and no bobbling, none of the group had any ball that they saw take a jump or slow down because of the green. Kudos to the green keepers! We will definitely be coming back in the next few weeks and I'm sure we'll have a few more friends joining us, just so you get an idea of how good it was, we travelled over an hour each way.

Really welcoming team at this course. Course is very good value for money with a great mix of challenging holes. Will 100% play here again.

Course was in good condition considering the rain recently. Fun layout and some challenging holes. However think they must let too many groups out, took us over 4.5 hours for a 2 ball. No opportunity to play through as all groups in front were backed up as well.

For 6 holes the rain and wind made it hard to enjoy, but it cleared and we had fun. I was amazed with no flooded greens - the course held up well.

Lovely surfaces, well kept.

Had some lost plugged balls in fairways but we did plu after a 3 day downpour.

Probably a few dry windy days off being in pretty good shape.

As always greens were true and in top shape.

Will be back in a few weeks.

Course (especially the greens) was in fantastic condition for February. Value for money through golf now app hot deal

Twilight tee time and had an enjoyable round. Some real testing holes and greens in brilliant condition. Will definitely play again

As usual, 4 balls ahead dominating proceedings and leaving us following pairs to linger in the cold waiting...and waiting, time after time. Very tedious to have to make an entire day of it. Also moved our booking without informing prior. Unable to coordinate with this site again .

Good greens. Fairways very average. A lot of water on the course even though it hasn’t rained much

Straight par 5 to start and you are set to go.

Good mixture of dogleg and water holes.

Not the longest of golf courses but you need to be clever around this one.

Top marks for a really good course.

Maybe should only take direct bookings if struggle to keep tabs on anything coming through third parties. No great effort to make it up to us either of course.

Basically reduced us to a two minute slot going just after the other pair. Not a great start and further lessened the pace.

Also disappointing that the hut not open after thirst 9 holes on what was such a warm day.
